  Thu 5/21/09 6pm - 7:45pm Challenge Day Here is a practice that our parents and athletes can come to scream for their favorite athlete.  The track shall be pretty busy, and the different levels of competition shall test toughness, strength endurance and willingness to put forth the extra effort against staggered races.  

Come witness 'Ttrack & Field Extreme'.  This is a bonding experience, and everyone walks away waiting for next Thursday's showdown.

  Sun 5/17/09 5pm - 6:30pm Re-Group Workout This practice is called re-focusing certain athletes based on competition performances.  Athletes who mechanics, efficiency in running, and confidence in executing are called to practice.  So that their efforts on Monday will be in kind with the purposed development plan.

  Fri 5/15/09 6pm - 7:15pm Technical Mechanics and Walk Thru Drills This is not a mandatory practice (Invitation only): Our Coaches feels this practice sessions re-emphasizes the technical aspect of the athletes pre-race day. Our new athletes and athletes experiencing technical issues shall be invited.  Confidence is gained as our athletes confirm their aproaches to Long-High-Triple Jump, Pole Vaulting, Relay Exchanges, Hurdling, and Block Starts.  

We want to re-address proper execution of:
1.  Sprint Cycling Drill
2.  Hurdling Trail Leg and Hip Flexor Strengthener Drill
3.  Hurdling Lead Leg Wall Drill
4.  Pop Up Drills for Distance Jumpers
5.  Slide Technique for Shot Putters
6.  Discus Spinnning and Release

The planned sustainment practice is purposeful for: confidence, exposive power, and efficiency to execute at a high level during competition.  

We continually to place a high priority and committment to the athlete's stretching and flexibility.  These principles are crucial in preventing injuries and encouraging muscle growth.
