A. From the North - U.S. 23 to Washtenaw Avenue (exit 37A); head east on Washtenaw to Hewitt Road; turn left on Hewitt and proceed to Convocation Center/Stadium area.

C. From the East - I-94 west to Huron Street; head north on Huron Street to Cross Street; turn left at Cross to Hewitt; turn right at Hewitt and proceed to Convocation Center/Stadium area.

Directions to the Softball Field
A. From the North - U.S. 23 to Washtenaw Avenue (exit 37A); head east on Washtenaw to Hewitt Road; turn left on Hewitt and proceed to Huron River Drive. Turn right on Huron River Drive and the softball field is at the next stop light on the right.
B. From the South - see above directions (A).
C. From the East - I-94 west to Huron Street; head north on Huron Street. Stay on Huron Street (take the right fork as it turns in to Huron River Drive). Proceed approximately three miles from the fork (past a McDonald's on your right), the softball field will be on your left.
D. From the West - I-94 east to U.S. 23 north; exit U.S. 23 at Washtenaw Avenue (exit 37A) and follow directions above (A).
Directions to Bowen Field House (Indoor Track/Wrestling), Warner Gym (Gymnastics), and Jones Natatorium (Swimming)

The Hart-Patterson Track and Field Complex is located just off Valley Mills Drive, between Dutton and Clay Streets, next door to Floyd Casey Stadium.
From the north drive south on I-35, take Valley Mills Drive exit to west. Stadium is approximately one mile on right. Follow directions into stadium lots.
From the south drive north on 1-35, take Valley Mills Drive exit to west. Stadium is approximately one mile on right. Follow directions into stadium lots.
From the west drive east on Hwy. 84 to Franklin/Waco Dr. split. Take Franklin to the right, go to 32nd street, turn right and go past Hart-Patterson Track & Field complex into stadium lots.

This is our primary training and development facility just west of FM 116 (The only road which connects Gatesville and Copperas Cove). Hanke Field has a fenced in level 400-meter eight lane oval running surface. The field events are accommodated by three Shot Put Pits (two primary), great real estate for safe Javelin tossing, a Long Jump Runway, a Triple Jump Runway, a Discus Platform with fence and netting, a High Jump Pit and Pole Vault Pit at opposite ends of the track area.
The Hanke Sports Complex also have bleaches for seating spectators, a male and female lavatory, an equipment room, a food booster room, and a locker room with lavatory amenities. The track and supported amenities are located in the rear of the main school campus at least a half mile away from the residential area. A most pleasing selected location.
The descending hills surrounding the Hanke Field are of great use when developing power and explosive strength in running, jumping and throwing while improving our athletes' overall cardiovascular endurance.

Taylor Middle School
Head East on Hwy 190; merge unto I-35N.
The the second exit (Central) after entering I-35.
Turn Right on side road right before McDonalds and another unto route 93.
Travel a more than 4 miles and turn right unto Hwy 95 South.
You shall travel through many Mayberry towns like Academy, Holland, Bartleet Granger, Circleville and then you enter Taylor, Texas.
Upon entering Taylor; turn right on Carlos G Parker Blvd (HEB on Right Corner).
Travel on Carlos G Parker Blvd for a little over a half mile on your right.
* Caution; if you travel down Hwy 95 South and you see an intersection with Hwy 95 South with Hwy 79. you travelled a little too far into Talyor.

We shall leave Cove Mc Donald's at approxiamately 6:30 am, and drive to Killeen Mc Donald's across from the Mazada Dealer. We shall leave there at about 6: 45 am heading east on Hwy 190. We will head north on I-35 until the 6th Street exit (near a Mc Donald's) in Belton. We shall head down Hwy 36/190 South/East and make a South transfer to Hwy 77 unto Giddings Texas. It's 110 miles from Copperas Cove.
Five Hills Track & Field Family, this track meet is a good choice. Our athletes will begin fierce Junior Olympic Qualification here in two weeks. There are closer Track Meets, but we need to become familiar with this track and it's environment. So when we travel there on June 20 & 21, 2003. We will be more in tune to perform better. Coach Francis (L.C. Express Track Club) of Giddings has been a true track sportsman. He's connected and turns out some of Texas's great Hurdlers, too include the number 3 ranked Hurdler in the world, Larry Wade.
Larry went on from Giddings to become a NCAA Champion in the 110 hurdles. Larry Wade beat the world's #1 & 2 ranked hurdlers twice in 2002 strengthening his rankings while juggling the top two spots. During his IAAF Golden League Track Circuit, Larry Wade took time out, and came back to Giddings with World Champion Sprinter Inger Miller, and performed a thorough 2-Day Sprint and Hurdler Camp. They didn't cut any corners, while providing the latest in sprint and hurdling mechanics. Each athletes who attended received great insight from Track & Field Best.

Indoor Track and Tennis Courts The six-lane, NCAA competition track is made of Mondo, widely regarded as the fastest surface in the world. It features sprint lanes on both sides, jump runways on both sides and two high jump areas, one on each side. Also located beneath the turf, the four full-size tennis courts are available for both practice and competition.
