Godwin to play 100 inning game to raise funds.
In 2005 the Godwin Baseball program will play its third annual 100 inning game to raise funds for the program. Funds raised will go to pay for our spring break trip to Millington, Tn. to play in the USA Classic, one of the top high school tournaments in the country. The 100 inning game will involve both the Varsity and jv. We are accepting donations from family, friends and businesses in the community that wish to make a donation. Here are the donation levels.

A SINGLE donation will be $10.00
A DOUBLE donation will be $25.00
A TRIPLE donation will be $50.00
A HOME RUN donation will be $100.00
A GRAND SLAM donation will be $200.00

Each player will address letters to 20 family members, friends or businesses that they feel will would be willing to donate at least $10.00 We are hoping that each player will average $200 in donations. In the first year of conducting this fundraiser we raised $10,000 that enabled us to buy more screens, matts, equipment and a completely new sound system for the baseball field.
If you would like to participate you don't even have to wait to get a letter. Just mail a check for the amount you wish to donate (made out to Godwin High School) to Coach Marano at Godwin High School. We thank you for your support of the program and our players.
