Friday Night Lights and a sea of blue

If you want to be part of the FAN Experience - sit with THE BLUE HOLE and join the Titan Cheerleaders in our weekly traditions / routines for getting the crowd "into" the game!!  At the conclusion of each home game... cheerleaders, football players, Blue Hole members, staff and students sing our alma mater while the band plays.  If you don't know the words to our alma mater, see below. 

Friday, September 11 was the official kick-off for the 2009 football season.  The day began with the traditional SENIOR Walk-In pep rally, teachers strutting their dance moves and the introduction of the varsity football team. 

We won our first game 10-7 while on the road at Tahquitz.

Each HOME game, we have a theme:

September 18:  Sponsor Appreciation Night

October 2:  TCHS Staff Appreciation Night

October 9:  Homecoming & Class Floats

November 6:  Fan Appreciaiton Night

November 13:  Senior Appreciation Night

This chant / stomp is done at the end of the 3rd quarter at varsity football and basketball games:

       repeat 10 times (or more).  We use this chant at the beginning of  the 1st and 3rd quarter in football and basketball or whenever we feel like it!

Everytime you see the cheer team using SIGNS or MEGAPHONES....MAKE SOME NOISE!

Titan Staff rocked the house at our first pep rally this year "Remember the Titans" while wearing their Titan Blue and performing the TITAN CLAP, TC CLAP and "We are the Titans" dance.  Every Friday is TITAN BLUE for Staff and Students.  To see teacher pictures by Department, click on PHOTO ALBUM in the menu bar.

Three schools in the U.S. were chosen as schools with "The Most Ultimate Fans." The contest was sponsored by SpiritLine Merchandise. The Titans' Cheer Coach submitted a letter explaining why TCHS was so deserving of this award, pictures of Titan Fans and Cheerleaders showing their school spirit and provided a link to our website. As a school with "The Most Ultimate Fans", SpiritLine Merchandise awarded TCHS with $500 worth of spirit items. The other two winning schools were Buckeye Union Hawks from Buckeye, Arizona and Thomas Daniel Mustangs from Kerrville, Texas. Temescal Canyon High School fan Ryan Crotteau, 17, donned a feathered outfit in honor of the school's basketball player Bryan Byrd at a recent game at Chaparral High School. Crotteau is part of the Blue Hole, a group of likeminded athletic supporters for the Titans.

the BOLT JOLTS are ELECTRIFYING!

If you've ever attended a TITAN football game, then you know who the BOLT JOLTS are! They are the TRUE BLUE TITAN FANS in the stands. While in the bleachers, they stomp to create THUNDER for important defensive plays! They howl like the WIND on kick-offs! They wear royal to create a SEA of blue...and all you do is "see blue" if you're the opponent! BOLT JOLTS are extremely important during the 3rd quarter since this is when the Titan Thunder Regiment (the band) takes their break. Where's the best place to sit if you wanna go crazy? Front and center...just look for all the students near the JV cheerleaders and JV football players in the bleachers! GO BLUE or GO HOME!

THE BLUE HOLE is outta this world!

Over 200 members strong!
During basketball season...THE BLUE HOLE comes alive inside the Thunderdome! You can't miss them as every member wears the royal blue shirt with a "6" on the front...signifying they are the 'sixth man' on the court. THE BLUE HOLE takes up a VERY LARGE section of bleachers...and it does not matter if our basketball team is HOME or AWAY...they are TRUE BLUE basketball followers! Many schools 'hear of' THE BLUE HOLE but they have no idea how HUGE the group is! THE BLUE HOLE has even been given credit in the press for "winning the game" for the Titans as the opponent becomes mentally, physically and emotionally drained by THE BLUE HOLE. If you have questions about membership, talk to Mr. Kossak.
