| WHEN RAKING THE INFIELD, NEVER RAKE TOWARDS THE GRASS. THE DIRT BUILDS UP AN EDGE IN THE GRASS MAKING THE INFIELD BUMPY. ALWAYS RAKE HORIZONTAL TO THE GRASS EDGE OR PULL THE DIRT AWAY FROM THE GRASS. | ||||

| Did you know that the foul line is in fair territory? When chalking the field, a line is pulled from the edge of home plate through the edge of the base and into the grass. The chalk should be on the fair side of the line, as the other side is in foul territory. This may sound minor but it could make the difference in your game..... | ||||
