PLAYER TRYOUTS
Players new to the Glendale Little League and returning players moving up to the next division (i.e. players not returning to the same team in the same division that they were on for the 2009 season) must attend tryouts in order to be eligible to be placed on a team. Rookie players do not tryout as they are placed on teams by the Rookie League VP.
Tryouts are held for the sole purpose of allowing managers to assess the skill level of all players that will be in the 2010 draft. We do our best to make all players feel at ease with this process and only ask that the players try their best. Everyone that attends the tryouts will be drafted on a 2010 team.
Tryouts for the 2010 season will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Nicolet High School in Gym #2. The times are as follows (please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in):
- Minors - 4:00 - 5:45PM.
- Majors - 6:00 - 7:45PM.
- Juniors - 8:00 - 9:45PM
In the event that you have an irreconciliable conflict and cannot attend the February 20, 2010 tryout there will be a supplemental tryout held on Tuesday February 16, 2010 from 7:30-9PM at Nicolet High School Gym #2. All players regardless of age tryout at the same time for the supplemental tryout. In order to attend the supplemental tryout you must contact Joe Ullrich, Player Agent, to receive permission (414-228-0640; joseph.ullrich@usbank.com) no later than Monday, February 8, 2010. Please make every attempt to attend the main tryouts on February 20, 2010.
The draft for all divisions will take place on Sunday February 21, 2010, and players will be notified as to the team that they are on by their managers early in the week of February 22nd.
