Little League Night at Bridgeport Speedway

Bridgeport Speedway will be hosting Little League Nights on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2. On either night of racing, the manager gets in for free with at least 7 players in uniform and kids 12 and under are free!

Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.

2012 Summer Classic Baseball Camp

Monday, June 25 – Wednesday, June 27 (Ages 8-17) Rain date: June 28 T his camp will focus on teaching all aspects of the game. We will provide an organized and structured camp that focuses on preparing the young player for his next level and refining his game. Competitive and challenging drills will be performed every day that reinforce the total development of the young player. All these drills and skills will be performed in a fun and safe environment. The camp will also have team competitions in the afternoon. Please join us for an exciting, action packed three days!

In an effort to provide timely information on bat rules, Little League International announced the bat specifications and standards for the 2012 season. Don't get hooked by any bat companies trying to sell illegal bats for use in practice. If it's illegal in games it is also illegal in practice.

Decertification of 33-inch Marucci CAT5 Bat

USA Baseball has advised us that the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has provided official notice that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the Marucci CAT5 33-inch model bat. Effectively immediately and until notified otherwise, this bat (Marucci CAT5 33-inch length) should be considered non-compliant and subject to Junior, Senior, and Big League Baseball Rules 1.10 and 6.06(d). 

 

Non-Compliance of Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636  

Little League Baseball, Incorporated has been informed that Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636 has failed recent performance standard compliance testing. Effective immediately, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636, including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Little League program or activity.
