The 12U Biddy Lady Vikings opened up strong in Pre-District play last weekend with wins against Cleary and Pontiff.

The Lady Vikings advanced to the Final Four Tournament @ Delta Playground, however fell to Owens in the Championship Game.   Congratulations to the Lady Vikings - the East Bank Girls Biddy Runner-ups! 

Congratulations goes out to Marissa Waguespack and Emily Gillus, who will represent Girard on the 2009 Girls Biddy Allstar 12U team from JPRD-East!

Also representing Girard is Cameron Angelo, who played on the 2009 Girls Biddy Allstar 10U team from JPRD-East (National Biddy 10U Runner-ups)!

The Girard Lady Vikings Biddy team had their backs to the wall.  They needed to win - twice - versus the Bright Lady Falcons.  This feat they accomplished over the last two evenings, and now they are the JPRD-East Girls Biddy Basketball Champions for 2008!

Congratulations to the Lady Vikings on their fantastic accomplishment!

Three members of the 2008 Girard Lady Vikings participated in this years Girls Biddy World Championships in Wichita, Kansas.  They were members of the the JPRD-East Allstars, who won the Tournament.

Congratulations to Marissa Waguespack, Victoria Waguespack and Emani White for proudly representing our Viking Nation!

Basketball First Practice Dates and times have been announced. Your child must be registered prior to participating in the evaluations. Registration will be available in the gym from 4 to 6pm. Age determining date is September 1, 2007 (any child making 6 ON or AFTER this date will be ineligible to participate).
