The Dixie Youth Baseball Field (Field 2) is located on the West Esplanade side of Girard Playground. It is past the concession stand and has a large covered bleacher with fans for your comfort.

Field 1 - Pony Baseball
The Pony Field (Field 1) is the largest baseball field (60/90) and is on the northeastern corner of the park. Access to this field is from the Gym parking lot, then to the right after passing the tennis courts.
Field 1 is used for all baseball ages 13 and up.

Field 5 is located in the middle of the park, adjacent to the restroom facility. It is equidistant from both the Gym and West Esplanade parking lots.
Age groups using Field 5 are 6 and Under baseball and softball, and some 7/8 and 9/10 (NL) year olds.

Located on the West Esplanade entrance to Girard.
All 9 and over Football and Soccer games are played on this field.
Field 4 is the main softball field for older girls. It is located on the St Martin St side of the park, and is equidistant from both the Gym and West Esplanade parking lots.

Baseball: Dixie Youth and 9/10 games normally will be played on the DY field along West Metairie Ave (on the corner of Sadie Avenue). That field is closest towards the city, not David Drive.
Other games could be played on the Saints Drive field behind the JPRD "Blue Building"
NOTE: Due to construction on the canal, parking may be limited on the neutral ground near the DY field. The gym parking lot is another option.
The Pontiff Gym was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. Please check with your coaches where basketball/volleyball games at Pontiff will be played.
