Profile: FORMER RIDER MEANS TO COACH PREP TEAM-
Coach Perleberg is pleased to announce that former Rider standout Seth Means will coach the Prep team in 2013. Means was formerly an assistant for the JV in 2011 and last year was a volunteer assistant. Means had a stellar career for the Riders in 2006-2008 playing under Coach Perleberg. Seth still holds the Riders All-Time Single Season Records for stolen bases with 59 and triples (11). He is second in all-time runs in a season with (108). He was an All-State player 2008 when the Riders won their first ever State Championship.

"Seth is a guy that really loves this program and we are fortunate to have a guy like Seth want to come back to contribute to our program now in a coaching role. He has a great baseball background and will bring a great deal of knowledge to our young players. He is a grinder and brings a competitive spirit that will translate to our young players. He has always really related well with our players and is a great fit for the development of our younger players.

Means graduated from Campbell County High School in 2008 and attended Dodge City Community College in Kansas for 2 years. At DCC Means put up great numbers, including hitting .336 in 48 games as a sophomore. Means then went on to play Division 1 Baseball for 2 years at the University of North Dakota.

Means will graduate this Spring from UND with a Pre-Med Degree in Biology.
