Ryan Iliff
Position: Assistant Coach (Riders)
Profile: Ryan Iliff will be entering his fourth season as the Riders Varsity Assistant Coach. Last season Iliff helped lead the Riders to a 51-27 overall record. Iliff played for Perleberg in 2006-2008. "He is my right-hand man and has become a staple in our coaching staff," said Riders head coach Nate Perleberg. "He is a guy that really comes in and relates well with our players. He has been with me since I took over in 2006 as either a player or a coach, so he has a good idea of what we are trying to accomplish as a program. He brings so much experience not only from playing at the college level, but from his own playing days in Legion. He really is a student of the game. The last three summers he has been an integral part to our programs continued success."

Iliff helped lead the Riders to their first ever State Championship in 2008, pitching a complete-game shutout in the championship game. He is the current Riders all-time single season and career leader in pitching wins, complete games, games pitched, and innings pitched. He also ranks second all-time for pitching strikeouts, ERA, on-base percentage, and batting average. Iliff had a very successful college career at Jamestown College. His senior year he was named to the DAC 2nd Team All-Conference. He went 7-4 as a junior and 5-2 as a senior.

"Ryan a great guy for our players to learn from on daily basis. The thing that stands out the most about Ryan is his love for this program. His work-ethic, competitiveness, and passion for the game are second to none. He has helped take our program to a new level, so it's exciting when a guy wants to come back and carry on that tradition in a different way. He is such a valuable piece to our coaching staff."

Coach Iliff is in his last year at Jamestown College and serves as a graduate assistant coach. He is majoring in Physical Education, with a minor in Coaching.
