All the players and supporters were treated to a beautiful sunny spring day at South Park as Giants celebrated their open day for 2009-2010 season.
Around 40 kids and senior players of various ages took part in the skill sessions which were run by the senior players within the club.
The kids were put though their paces with infield, outfield and throwing drills as well as soft toss and BP on diamond two.
Once the sessions were completed the kids were keen to show off their new skills in a game situation. A number of the kids showed alot of promise and this was a great time to do so with the junior coaching staff in attendance at the park.
It was great to see so many new faces and returning players enjoying the wonderful surrounding of South Park.
This early season numbers indicates that the club is in good shape for the future.
