Ah! Opening day! Great to hear there were so many young players getting involved in softball at South Park. I also notice that even though I am gone I am not forgotten. On diamond number two there was "soft toss" and "BP" going on! Good on ya boys!

Cheers

Giant Faithful,

Sitting home on the Island recovering from the wedding festivities. Had a great time out in GP with the crew. Great to see everyone and have a few laughs. Looking forward to hearing about the Giants in the upcoming season.

Boys,

What has happened?? Four games played 1 win, 3 losses and only 4 runs scored in one single game. Obviously the bats went silent and everyone is frustrated beyond belief.

I am just at a loss for words and actually not really looking forward to the run down on exactly what happened.

All I can say is look at Viaduct here comes the Greasy Mexican!!

So here's one for the books!
For those of you that know of Giants and the game famous names, then you will know that coach Nixon and the name Kevin is a Taboo topic. You will also know that Big Gee and Coach Nixon are good mates, so you could onld imagine my surprise when round one of Famous Names, Big Gee who went before Nixon gave him the Calvin Klien, and Nixy was left with that infamous k to work with. Well...... true to form he spat out a Kevin. Mabaged to come up with a last name, but still bloody funny.

p.s. Has anyone tried that Tiger Beer - good stuff

I recall having to come into 2nd at the last club nats - brilliant

Heh Boys!

Looking at your schedule for the Club Nationals is certainly looks like a great opportunity for you to get into that top 8 once again.

After Tuesday nothing less than two wins would have to be expected, Wednesday at least a split and once Jamesion has pitched 4 games the gas in his tank should be running low on Thursday.

Richie Clarke vs Thomas Enoka (Black Sox pitcher) if there was ever inspiration to have a blinder of a game Richie that has to be it! Hutt City....do I really need to say anything!!

All the best boys! I will be checking in to see how you are getting along.

Cheers

Congratulations to young Richard and Nicole on their engagement over the Christmas break. Looks like a trip to Sexsmith AB will be in the cards for Jenn and I over our summer vacation.

Cheers
