Position: Head Coach
Profile: Coach Miragliuolo will be in his 13th season as the head coach of the Falcons in 2014. Coach Miragliuolo graduated from John Bapst High School in Bangor, Maine in 1992 and from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1995. He returned to his alma mater, John Bapst, in the spring of 1996 for the 1st of his 5 years as the junior varsity coach before leading the varsity team to the state championship in 2001.

2001-2002 was his 1st year at Green Hope and the 2002 team went 22-3 en route to winning the conference title and being nationally-ranked for part of the season. In 12 seasons, the Falcons have won 5 conference titles and been to the state playoffs 11 times. Coach Miragliuolo has been named conference coach of the year 4 times and in 2005 was named the North Carolina Region 3 Baseball Coach of the Year. In 2012 he was also named by the American Baseball Coaches Association the U.S. High School Division I (large schools) Region 2 (NJ, DE, MD, PA, DC, WV, VA, NC, and SC) Coach of the Year.

Entering the 2014 season his teams have achieved a record of 227-99 (.696 winning %). In addition, 30 players have gone on to play college ball and 4 former players have been drafted by Major League teams.

Miragliuolo also coaches the men’s and women’s cross country teams at Green Hope and in 12 years the nationally-ranked girls have won 10 conference titles, the boys 9 conference titles, won a combined 11 regional titles, and won a combined 5 state titles.

Coach Miragliuolo is a member of the North Carolina Coaches Association, the American Baseball Coaches Association, the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association, and the National Baseball Coaches Association.

Miragliuolo spends his free time traveling to Europe for several weeks each summer and published his 1st book in 2011.
