Major Cubs defeat Largo to win Red Division Championship of District 12 Tournament!
Congratulations to Manager Jeff Ganoe and the Cubs for bringing a Tournament Title to Holiday, by winning the Red Division of the District 12 Fall Classic this past weekend at Countryside Little League.
The Cubs won a hard fought title game, over Largo, 11-9. Congratulations to all of the Cubs! Great job!!

Mets and Indians reach Semi-Finals of District 12 Fall Classic!
Congratulations to the Indians, managed by Tony Yehl, and the Mets, managed by Tom Gronock for their fantastic runs in this past weekend's District 12 Fall Classic In-Season Tournament. Both teams performed great in pool play, had exciting victories in their quarterfinal games, but then came up just short in their semi-final matchups.
Way to go Indians and Mets!! Great job!!

Cardinals and Marlins reach Quarters of District 12 Fall Classic!
Congratulations to the Cardinals, managed by Jim Cook, and the Marlins, managed by Ken Powers for reaching the quarterfinals of this past weekend's District 12 Fall Classic.
Both teams had great runs during pool play, defeating 3 quality opponents. Though they fell short in the quarterfinals, both Managers were very pleased with the way their teams played.
Great job Cardinals and Marlins! Congratulations!

Astros - Spring 2009 GHLL Majors Strong Team
Congratulations to the Astros and Manager Pat Hloska for claiming the Greater Holiday Little League Majors Division title, with a 7-6 come from behind victory over the Mets on Saturday. The Astros will now represent GHLL as our Strong Team in the District 12 Tournament of Champions which starts later this month.
Congratulations again Astros! We know you will represent GHLL with pride.

Mets advance to "Blue Division Finals" of District 12 In-Season Tournament
In this past weekend's District 12 In-Season Tournament, the Mets won 5 games in a row to reach the "Blue Division's" Championship Game. Though they fell short in the title game, it was a great run for the Mets. Congratulations!!

Cardinals make Quarters of In-Season Tournament...
Though a little late, we still want to recognize the Cardinals for making the Quarterfinals of the District 12 In-Season Tournament, held at GHLL during March. Congratulations to Manager Jim Cook and the Cards for their great run in the tournament.
Tuesday, April 14
Astros Win 1st Half of Majors Season
Congratulations to Manager Pat Hloska and the Astros for completing an undefeated campaign and winning the 1st half of the Majors 2009 Spring Season. The Astros will now square off against the 2nd half winner at the conclusion of the season to determine the GHLL Strong Team Representative in the District 12 Tournament of Champions.
The Astros completed their undefeated first half with a hard fought 3-0 victory over the also previously undefeated Cardinals on Monday night. The Astros' Brian Hloska, and the Cardinals' Josh Clymer squared off in a tight pitchers duel, with the Astros finding a way to scratch across the runs to claim the victory.
Congratulations to all 6 of our GHLL Majors Teams for such a well played 1st half of the season and good luck to everyone as we move forward into the second half of the season.
