Tides Softball: Welcome

Welcome to the Tides softball site! Site under process of updating. Please be patient! 

Per WIAA regulations Coach Bill and Coach Cory will not return for 2012. We wish them the best of luck with their respective Club teams. 

Coach Ed T'sas will be assuming the JV duties. Ed comes to us from Goodman Middle School.

On Varsity, Dan Oliver and Dave Myakie are onboard to help the Tide Softball program return to the District and State Tournaments. Dan just retired from Harbor Ridge Middle school while Dave is currently at Artondale.

With the knowledge and teaching skills our new coaches have, our program should flourish for years to come.

During Open Gym, the batting cage will be available for use.

FUNDRAISING NEEDED!

We have a great need this coming year to raise as much money as possible to help pay for repairing/replacing the broken fence, purchasing storage carts for the fence, replacing lost revenues due to state budget cuts and numerous other expenses. The Clinic in March will help but we need other ideas and resources. Start now to help build our coffers. Ideas, actions and checks accepted.

CLINIC 2012

Clinic date will be Saturday March 17, 2012. This is a huge fundraiser for us so start spreading the word now! Clinic flyer is onsite in the handouts section.

FORMS ON THE SITE: All pertinent forms have been uploaded to the handouts section of the site. You may click on the forms (PDF) format and select download to open. You may then print the form, fill it out and sign where it needs to be signed, then drop it in the Fastpitch box in the office.

GRADES: Be sure to get your grades up, Now is the time to make sure your grades are up and continue to stay that way. Freshmen, you need to work hard and not fall behind.

ATHLETIC PACKETS: Be sure you turn in after obtaining your athletic packet to Deborah Ladd and make sure your physical is up to date. Pay to play fee should be submitted by March 3, 2012. Remember we need to ALL be available to practice on Feb 27, 2012.
