Georgia Thunder is a basketball organization for the serious ballplayer who wants to compete at the highest level.

The mission of Georgia Thunder is to help players improve their basketball skills and gain playing experience at the highest level. Georgia Thunder players will also gain exposure to new people and places though tournament play. The Georgia Thunder Basketball Club participates in AAU and YBOA tournaments throughout the United States. We currently have 12U, 13U and 15U boys basketball teams. Trying to win has become unpopular in the "age of Participation." We believe that achieving the goal helps the kids understand how hard work can pay off. We want to develop self-confidence as well as solid basketball players. Most importantly, we want the kids to have fun.

Our staff has over 25 years of coaching experience and all coaches have played college basketball. Not only will the youth gain and improve basketball skills, emphasis will be placed on academic excellence, sportsmanship and pro-social skills.

GA Thunder win All-American Cage Classic

The Thunder Crew Stormed into Alabama to win the regional qualifier for the AACC National Championship Tournament.  Roger Hubbard Jr. was named 6th grade MVP.  Congratulations to the crew, this was their first tournament of the year.

Congratulations to the Georgia Thunder for another tournament win. The kids are playing with a lot of confidence heading into the AAU tournament in Orlando March 25-28.
 
THUNDER GO 4-1 IN AAU EASTER CLASSIC @ DISNEY'S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS

Congratulations to the Thunder Crew for finishing in 3rd place and receiving a bid to play in the AAU Division I National Championship to be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

12U Thunder go 2-2 in 13U Division of the YBOA Marietta Heat Spring Break Classic

The 12U Thunder Crew played extremely well in the 13U division, making it to the quarter finals.  The crew finished 2-2 against the big boys.

YBOA State Runner-up 

The 12u Thunder crew finished 2nd in the YBOA State Championship going 6-1.  The Thunder will now prepare for the Nationals in July.  Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work. 

GA THUNDER 12U BRING HOME THE BRONZE MEDAL IN 13U DIVISION OF THE GA STATE GAMES

The 12u crew played extremely well in the 13u division of the Georgia State Games, so well that they brought home the Bronze medal.  The 12u crew are playing well and continue to prepare for the Nationals.

IMPROVE YOUR GAME: If you are seriously interested in improving your basketball game, please plan to attend small group workouts with Coach Hubbard. Coach Hubbard has over 10 years coaching experience and has played at the collegiate level. Coach Hubbard has worked with many young players to improve their game.
