Georgia Fire 97: My Site News

Saturday's tournament in Dalton has been CANCELLED due to bad field conditions.

The Fire will still practice on Sunday at 4pm at Sandy Plains Park on Field 4.  Sunday is also Mizuno day for the Fire organization also at Sandy Plains Park during our practice time.

We will be playing in the NSA October Chill tournament in Dalton, GA at Heritage Point Park.

First game is 9:00am.  Players should arrive no later than 8:00am.
Second game is at 10:30am.

Field # is TBD.

This is a 2pool - Dbl elimination tournament.  It also is just a 1-day.

Way to go Fire!!  Ladies you did a great job on Saturday finishing 2nd in the 4-team friendly at Collins Hill Park against the 97 Impact, 97 Worth, and 97 Collins Hill teams. 

It was a great way to start the Fall season and you looked great after just 1 practice!!  Keep up the hard work!!

Practice will be on Sunday this week at Bells Ferry Park at 3pm.

We will NOT practice this Thursday due to the many schedule conflicts.   Please be sure to work on your own as much as possible.

We play Saturday morning at 10:45am at Collins Hill Park.  Our game times are 10:45am,  12:30pm, and 5:45pm.  Possible game also at 7:30pm.  Players should arrive at the park no later than 9:15am. 

Parents, We will have a meet-n-greet this Saturday at 5 PM, Field #1, Bell's Ferry. We will go over our plans for the Fall & Spring & many housekeeping items. Please bring your checkbook as we have some minor Park fees to collect. While we are doing that the girls will be able to practice together. After a short practice, if everyone can bring a dish or dessert we can relax and enjoy some get to know each other time.
