Games: Fri 9/19-Sat 9/20 Perfect Game WWBA Qualifier #1 at ECB
The Cougars played three games in the 2008 PG WWBA. It was way more than the team could handle due to injuries and players missing for personal reasons. Due to a couple injuries that could not be helped, Miller, Lairsey & Morris have been out now for a couple weeks. Missing players Fuller was missing Fri. night and Cowart for the weekend. This caused the staff to have to move players around trying to fill positions.
The team faced Tallassaee Indians Fri. night losing 6-2. Turner pitched a great game but due to a couple errors and not hitting the ball the team was over matched.
Sat in the 1st game the Cougars faced the East Cobb Rebels. Peters pitched a great 5 innings allowing 3 hits with no runs. Fehribach came in working the 6th and 7th innings allowing no hits and no runs. The game was tied 0-0 at the end of 7 innings. One extra inning was added.
