Select Season:  

Instructional
Instructional ball is for 5 & 6 year olds. Emphasis is on teaching the fundamentals, and parents are asked to participate in the practices so they can reinforce the skills at home. Games are Coaches pitch.

Broncos
The Broncos are 11-12 year olds (based on age as of April 30). 70 foot bases, 48 foot pitching mound, leadoffs, steals.

Mustangs
The Mustangs are the 9-10 year old group
(based on age as of April 30). Standard little league size bases and pitching (46' pitching, 60' bases). Kids pitch, limits to runs that can be scored per inning.


Pinto
Ages 7-8 (based on age as of April 30). Begin with coaches pitch, then move to kids pitch with coaches help. A step up from Instructional, preparing for Mustang ball.

Pony League
14u (based on age as of April 30) competitive league, play teams from Northern Illinois including Antioch, Spring Grove, Lake Villa, Richmond, etc. Approximately 26-30 games will be played, 4 - 5 games per week. 80 foot bases, 54 foot pitching mound.

Girls Softball - Instructional
This is an instructional league for girls 7-8. This league will teach the fundamentals of ASA softball and to have fun. The players start to learn to pitch to batters ; regulation 11" softball is used. All players bat in roster rotation. Players will continue to learn fundamentals of hitting, throwing, basic defense and basic rules. No team standings are kept.

Girls Softball - Minors
This is a transitional league in which players learn to pitch. A regulation 11" softball is used. All players bat in roster rotation. Players will continue to learn fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and basic defense and the basic rules and strategy of ASA softball. The principle difference is pitching, which must be taught in this league. The basic fundamentls of base stealing are instroduced. Team standings are kept and a tournament is played at the end of the year. Ages 9-10

Girls Softball - Majors
This is a league that provides a higher level of competition. A regulation 12" softball is used. All players bat in a roster rotation. Players will continue to learn the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and basic defense and the basic rules and strategy of ASA softball. The fundamentals of base stealing are expanded upon. Team standings are kept as part of the Nippersink League. Ages 11-12

Girls Softball - Juniors
This is a league for young women who are interested in softball in a form similar to high shcool ball. All players bat in roster rotation. Team standings kep as part of the Nipersink League. Ages 13-15

Girls Softball - Seniors
This is a league for young women who are interested in softball in a form similar to high school ball. All players bat in rotation. Team standings are kept as part of the Nippersink League. Ages 16-18
