- A motion was made to pay the $3662.50 owed to three
league members for loans made to the league in 2006. The motion carried
and the cheques were issued at the meeting. The league is officially out
of debt with a balance of $2911.23 minus expenditures for the banquet
food.

- Rules regarding pitching were discussed.
- A motion was tabled that

order of selection for the first round of the draft will be drawn from a
hat. The rest of the draft rounds will be based on reverse order of
regular season standings as usual.
- Topics related to the mid-season tournament were discussed
and it was decided that all items would be reviewed at the captains
meeting in the spring of 2009. It was however decided that:
- The league would pay for 2 umpires for all tournament
games. In the past, only the playoff games on Sunday had two umpires.
- The league would investigate moving the tournament date
to the weekend before Father’s Day in June.
