GCGH BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ITS TIER 2, 3 and 4 COACHES FOR THE 2009-2010 SEASON
The GCGH Board of Directors is pleased to announce its Tier 2, 3 and 4 head coaches for the 2009-2010 season:

Registrations are now being accepted online for the 2009-2010 season for competitive and house league players. Just a reminder that Tier 2, 3 and 4 competitive tryouts will be held on August 29-30, 2009 as indicated in our previous email blasts. A tryout fee of $70.00 will need to be paid prior to Tier 2, 3 and 4 tryouts. The online web site registration link and the schedule for the tryouts will be made available over the summer.
Please visit the registration section of the GCGH web site to register. All inquiries regarding GCGH registration should be directed to the Association's Registrar, Lise Cardinal, at registrar@gcgh.ca or at lisecardinal94@sympatico.ca.
Just a reminder that house league coaching applications are due on June 15, 2009. An announcement regarding our house league coaches will be sent to the GCGH membership once the coaches have been selected.

GCGH BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNOUNCE ITS TIER 1 COACHES FOR 2009-2010 SEASON
The GCGH Board of Directors is pleased to announce its Tier 1 coaches for the 2009-2010 season:
Atom A - Stéphane Dicaire
Peewee AA - Jean Lamarche
Bantam AA - Chris Fraser
Midget AA - Michel Durocher
Intermediate A - Angela Martin
The GCGH Board of Directors would also like to send its sincere thanks to the GCGH Coaches Selection Committee who spent numerous volunteer hours interviewing over 30 applicants for the competitive divisions for the 2009-2010 season. An informational session with the Tier 1 coaches will be held on April 21, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Programs Room at the Ray Friel Centre. This is an opportunity for parents and players to hear from the Tier 1 coaches with respect to their coaching philosophy, yearly plans, team rules and expectations, and proposed budgets and an opportunity for you to ask questions before the April 25-26, 2009 tryouts. This will allow families to make an informed decision before the tryouts get under way.
Just a reminder that the deadline to register for the April 25-26, 2009 tryouts is April 15, 2009. Registration and payment for the tryouts must be made BEFORE the tryouts begin; therefore, please visit the 2009/2010 Registration section of this website to register and pay online. No walkups will be allowed for the tryouts. Please contact the GCGH Registrar, Lise Cardinal at lisecardinal94@sympatico.ca if you run into any problems with the online registration system.
The goalie tryout schedule is now available on the GCGH web site as well for Tier 1. Please visit the GCGH web site at www.gcgh.ca for more information.
Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 coaches will be announced after the Tier 1 tryouts have been completed.

Tier 2, 3 and 4 Tryout Protocol
The Updated 2009 Tier 2, 3 and 4 Tryout Protocol has been added under the “Forms and Documents” tab on the left side of this page. The document contains important information about the tryouts that will be taking place from Aug. 25-30 as well as a list of completed documentation that is required for all participants.
This is also a reminder of the Tier 2, 3 and 4 Parents’ Meeting on August 24, 2009 at 7:00pm in the Program Room at Ray Friel Recreation Complex.
