GBTP 4 - Sunday's Details
GBTP 4 is fast approaching and we can now reveal details for the Sunday's festivities...
Sunday 31st October 2010 - 10am until late - GBTP 4 Main Event: The Great British Tailgate Party is now in its fourth year, and is the must go pre and post game venue for American Football fans. The “GBTP” is based at the Green Man Hotel, just five minutes walk from Wembley Stadium.
The main event is the Sunday and people come from all around the country, Europe and America to meet up before the game. As well as having the hotel’s bar area, two marquees are set up in the grounds to house additional bars, retail stands, and entertainment!
There will also be lots of football talk with other NFL and BAFA fans, plenty of opportunities to purchase NFL merchandise from an official retailer and American Football gear from Football America UK. The ever popular Colchester Gladiators Dance Team will be making a number of performances throughout the day.
This year there will be six bars in operation, including five licensed bars and a dedicated soft drinks only bar, plus the main bar inside the Green Man will be open until 1am on Monday morning! More food outlets have also been added, including breakfast which will be available from 7:30am-9am, the famous Green Man BBQ from 9:30am and, new for 2010, a 'Hog Roast'.
After the Wembley NFL game the party continues at the Green Man, with a live band performing throughout the evening and hot BBQ food available. With the Green Man open until very late Sunday night and entertainment provided, GBTP is THE place to be after the game!
It will all be happening at GBTP 4 on Sunday 31st October, the fun starts at 10am! (Breakfast from 7:30am!)
