-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About GBSF:  Green Baseball/Softball Federation has been operating as a 501c3 volunteer based organization for more than 53 years in the city of Green.  We play under the PONY (Protect Our Nations Youth) rules, which most baseball & softball players in the U.S. participate under. PONY rules are more like MLB rules and teach children to learn more of the game while they also play on more realistic field dimensions. There IS a difference in baseball/softball organizations in Green and only GBSF  has the long standing history of serving Green as well as High School level coaching input and clinics. We provide the best baseball and softball instruction to the youth (ages 4 - 18) of Green  and the security of  thorough background checks for all Head Coaches. Our revenue from registration stays in Green and goes directly to cover the cost of equipment, uniforms, umpires, and to benefit the GBSF registered players in Green! No funds go to a National organization under GBSF.  Our clincs are held in March, practices begin in April with games taking place staring the first week in May and running through June.

This site has been created to provide more information about our organization and help communication with the community of Green. Please enjoy the site and contact us if you have any comments or questions. Please feel free to become a member of the site and use the message board. This could be a good way for the community to discuss issues relating to the play of baseball and softball in Green. There is no charge to become a member.
