Bob Rickards has been involved in soccer for over 30 years including high school, college, and amateur leagues.  Bob has 19 years of competitive experience with the last 14 years at the high school level.  Bob has been coaching for Green Bay Lightning for 10 years with his last team making the Premier division of the state league.  He is currently the head coach for the boys and girls teams at Notre Dame Academy and was named FRCC Coach of the year for 2008 and led his NDA Boys team to a repeat DII WIAA State Championship.  He has was also named All Area Soccer Coach of the Year by the Press-Gazette in 2005.  He has been named the Bay Conference Coach of the Year once (2002) and the FRVC Coach of the Year twice (2006 and 2007).  He currently holds a NSCAA regional diploma and a USSF "D" license as well as a G/Y certificate.  When Bob is not playing, coaching or officiating soccer, he can be found spending time with his family.

Brianne Wienkers is currently a freshman at UW-La Crosse majoring in biology and hopes to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. Brianne has been involved with soccer for over 14 years, playing most of her years with the Green Bay Lightning Soccer Club.  She played four years at Notre Dame Academy High School, three of those years starting on the varsity squad. Sophomore and junior year she made Second team All Conference. Senior year she was a captain, made First team All Conference, First team All Area, and was named the team's MVP.  Brianne has coached 5th and 6th grade soccer and has assisted in several youth soccer camps. When not playing soccer she works with high risk Girl Scouts in the inner city, enjoys photography, and most outdoor activities.

Alyssa Flaten is currently a freshman at the University of St. Thomas  in Minnesota.  She attended high school at Notre Dame Academy.  Alyssa has been playing soccer for just about 10 years, playing for four years with the Howard Hurricanes and six years with Allouez.  At Notre Dame she played soccer and basketball for all four years and she played golf for one year.  She started as goalie for the varsity soccer team her junior and senior years at NDA.  Her senior year she was a captain in soccer and basketball, and made All Conference honorable mention and All Metro honorable mention in soccer.  Over the course of her life she has helped with many basketball camps and soccer camps and loved every minute of it.  Outside of sports she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, and being outdoors.

Katie is currently studying education and hopes to be an elementry school teacher. Katie has played soccer for 14 years now, four of those years were with lightning where she was
coached by Bob and Joey Rickards. She played four years of high school
soccer; her freshman year was with Preble then she finished off her high school
career at East. During her senior and junior year she was captain of the team.
She ended her senior year with the MVP award, 1st team all conference, and
1st team all area.  She has also coached soccer for three years at the
YMCA.

Erik Lofdahl started coaching in the SAY Strikers League for his younger brother at the age of 17.  He is now entering his 26th year of coaching.  He was involved in the formation of Green Bay Lightning with former Green Bay Preble Coach Horst Stemke and a number of others.  Erik was the first Varsity Boy's Soccer Coach at Green Bay East High School and led the team to a 15-3-3 record and the WIAA State Quarterfinals.  He became the first coach to take a Green Bay public school team to the WIAA state tournament.  He was also Assistant Coach under Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame Coach John Adema at St. Norbert College.  He has a "D" state coaching license in Wisconsin and Missouri.  Erik has coached over 40 players who went on to play either DI, DII or DIII college soccer.  Most of those players were developed throughout Erik's 10-year Select Soccer experience.  He has also worked at camps and ODP district tryouts.

Kathryn Wolff is currently a sophomore at UW-Green Bay and is majoring in human biology while pursuing pre-med.  While she has played soccer since she was five years old, her first years of select soccer began at ten years of age with Bob Rickards on Green Bay Lightning, the first U11 girl’s team.  She attended Preble High School and was a three-year varsity starter in soccer, basketball, and volleyball.  Her freshman year on the JV soccer squad, she received the offensive player of the year award.  In all of these sports, she has coached younger players at various clinics and camps.  At UW-Green Bay, she was asked by Coach Quinn Ross to practice with the team for the fall ’07 season, but playing on the team would have been too much of a time commitment.  Her other interests are playing the piano, making crafts, and hanging out with family and friends.  She is very excited to help these young girls develop their love of soccer.

Brad has been active in the soccer world both playing and coaching over the past 25 years.  After Brad finished playing at UW-Stevens Point, he coached for clubs in Appleton and Milwaukee before relocating to the Green Bay area.  Brad has had the success of taking all of his teams from the A and B divisions in to the first division and premier.  Brad holds his National D coaching license.  He has taken a couple years off from coaching to start his soccer family, but is excited to get back into coaching with Green Bay Lightning.

Brian Gerondale has been actively involved with soccer for more than twenty years, both as a player and as a coach.  His playing experience includes club, high school, overseas, college, and adult amateur levels.  His coaching experience includes two seasons with both the boys and girls Notre Dame Academy soccer programs and two seasons with Green Bay Lightning.  He currently holds a USSF "D" coach's license.  Away from soccer, he enjoys family, teaching, photography, travel/adventure, and he has a lively passion for all things outdoors.

David Kirschling has been involved with soccer since he was six years old.  He has played on a variety of teams from Recreational to the State Premier League.  David played three seasons of varsity soccer at Notre Dame Academy and was named a captain and team Most Valuable Player during his senior season.  He currently plays club soccer at Marquette University.  When he is not playing or coaching soccer, David can be found on the golf course or spending time with his family and friends.

Originally from Cincinnati Ohio , Rick came to Green bay in 1981 to play for UWGB.  After finishing school Rick started playing for the men’s Major team in Green Bay .  He has been coaching high school soccer for the past 16 years and involved with various club soccer teams for 9 years.

Ron Deprey started his coaching career at the U8 level with the Kewaunee County Youth Soccer Association (KCYSA).  He has coached all age levels from U8 through U15.  Before moving to Green Bay Lightning, Ron and his wife had been actively involved on the KCYSA Board of Directors for four years.  Ron is currently in his 10th year of coaching; his 2nd with Green Bay Lightning.  Ron currently holds his E-Level Coaching License and is a Certified USSF Referee.  Ron and his family reside in Luxemburg and both of his children are current players for Green Bay Lightning.  In their spare time Ron and his wife enjoy (what else) watching their children play soccer for their Green Bay Lightning Teams and LC School Soccer Teams.

Chad Hendricks was a three-year starter on the Preble High School varsity team when soccer first became an officially recognized sport in Green Bay.  At the time, there were no select soccer clubs in Green Bay.  When Green Bay Lightning Soccer Club started, Chad joined the U19 team.  Being a new team, with a new club, the team wore green and white homemade jerseys.  Chad has been coaching the current U17 girls team since they were U12.  Chad has an E-level coaching license.  He is married with two boys, Jake who is 5 years old and Jaron who is 3 years old.

Dan has been involved with the Green Bay Lightning soccer club for over twelve
years, beginning his playing career in 1996 and his coaching career in 2003. 
Dan has worked with teams of all ages from U-11 to U-19;  he currently is
entering his 7th summer coaching for Green Bay Lightning.  In addition to his
involvement with GBL, he also played four years of high school soccer at Green
Bay Preble and 4 years of College Soccer at St. Norbert College where he was
named to the Academic All-Conference team 3 straight years.  In addition to
his overall knowledge of soccer, Dan also specializes in working with
Goalkeepers as this was his primary position.

U11 Boys (Silver) Coach Tim Sewell

Tim played soccer from his youth through high school, and was reintroduced to the game when his oldest son started playing at age 6.  He coached for three years in Kewaunee County before joining Lightening last season.  2008 will be his second full season coaching U11 boys with our program.  With two boys now involved with soccer he will also be coaching at the U8 level in Kewaunee this summer.  Tim is a board member for the newly formed Luxemburg/Casco Soccer Club and try’s to play himself when time allows.  When Tim and his son’s are not participating in soccer they can be found trying to talk mom into letting them go fishing or hunting.

Nick has been playing soccer since he was 4. He played recreational soccer most of his career. Nick played on Green Bay East's varsity team for 2 years and played with Allouez Heat for a year before a knee injury  - then played with them again for another year. Nick's previous coaching experience was with Eric Lofdahl with the U-12 boys team before they went to the state level.

U12 Boys (Black) Coach Jim Nash, Jr.
Jim Nash has been involved in soccer since the age of four.  He was a member of Wisconsin Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 1983-1986.  He grew up playing soccer in Neenah where he was a member of Neenah High School Soccer for four years and helped them to win back-to-back state championships.  At the collegiate level, he played for four years at UWGB and was an assistant coach for the womens' team for one year.  He started his select soccer coaching career at De Pere for one year and has been with GB Lightning for the last 14 years.  He still plays soccer to this day.

Ron Deprey started his coaching career at the U8 level with the Kewaunee County Youth Soccer Association (KCYSA) when his oldest son was 6 years old.  He continued to coach his children from levels U8 through U15; coaching both to league championships.  Ron just completed his 8th year of coaching with KCYSA.  He and his wife have been actively involved on the KCYSA Board of Directors for the last 4 years.  Ron is eager to start his 9th year of coaching by moving to the next level with Green Bay Lightning.  He is currently the substitute coach for the Luxemburg-Casco Middle School Soccer Teams.  Ron and his family reside in Luxemburg and both of his children are current players for Green Bay Lightning.

U16 Girls Coach Chad Hendricks
Chad Hendricks was a three-year starter on the Preble High School varsity team when soccer first became an officially recognized sport in Green Bay.  At the time, there were no select soccer clubs in Green Bay.  When Green Bay Lightning Soccer Club started in 1990, Chad joined the U19 team.  Being a new team, with a new club, the team wore green and white homemade jerseys.  Chad has been coaching the current U16 girls team for the past five years.  Chad has an E-level coaching license.  He is married with two boys, Jake who is 4-1/2 years old and Jaron who is 2-1/2 years old.  In his spare time, he can usually be found working on finishing his basement, playing cards, or watching sports.

Dan has been involved with the Green Bay Lightning soccer club for over twelve
years, beginning his playing career in 1996 and his coaching career in 2003. 
Dan has worked with teams of all ages from U-11 to U-19;  he currently is
entering his 6th summer coaching for Green Bay Lightning.  In addition to his
involvement with GBL, he also played four years of high school soccer at Green
Bay Preble and 4 years of College Soccer at St. Norbert College where he was
named to the Academic All-Conference team 3 straight years.  In addition to
his overall knowledge of soccer, Dan also specializes in working working with
