Brianne Wienkers is currently a freshman at UW-La Crosse majoring in biology and hopes to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. Brianne has been involved with soccer for over 14 years, playing most of her years with the Green Bay Lightning Soccer Club. She played four years at Notre Dame Academy High School, three of those years starting on the varsity squad. Sophomore and junior year she made Second team All Conference. Senior year she was a captain, made First team All Conference, First team All Area, and was named the team's MVP. Brianne has coached 5th and 6th grade soccer and has assisted in several youth soccer camps. When not playing soccer she works with high risk Girl Scouts in the inner city, enjoys photography, and most outdoor activities.
Brad has been active in the soccer world both playing and coaching over the past 25 years. After Brad finished playing at UW-Stevens Point, he coached for clubs in Appleton and Milwaukee before relocating to the Green Bay area. Brad has had the success of taking all of his teams from the A and B divisions in to the first division and premier. Brad holds his National D coaching license. He has taken a couple years off from coaching to start his soccer family, but is excited to get back into coaching with Green Bay Lightning.
David Kirschling has been involved with soccer since he was six years old. He has played on a variety of teams from Recreational to the State Premier League. David played three seasons of varsity soccer at Notre Dame Academy and was named a captain and team Most Valuable Player during his senior season. He currently plays club soccer at Marquette University. When he is not playing or coaching soccer, David can be found on the golf course or spending time with his family and friends.
Chad's twin brother, Craig, is the assistant coach. Craig also has and E-level coaching license.
Dan has been involved with the Green Bay Lightning soccer club for over twelve years, beginning his playing career in 1996 and his coaching career in 2003. Dan has worked with teams of all ages from U-11 to U-19; he currently is entering his 7th summer coaching for Green Bay Lightning. In addition to his involvement with GBL, he also played four years of high school soccer at Green Bay Preble and 4 years of College Soccer at St. Norbert College where he was named to the Academic All-Conference team 3 straight years. In addition to his overall knowledge of soccer, Dan also specializes in working with Goalkeepers as this was his primary position.
Blair has been involved with soccer for over 25 years as both a player and coach. He started coaching youth teams and playing for Stevens Point Soccer Club. Blair played high school soccer at SPASH and collegiate soccer at UW-Stevens Point. He has coached nearly all youth levels of soccer., and has also been a referee for youth, high school, and college level games. Blair currently holds NSCAA Advanced Reional and State Goalkeeping Diploma and is also the Assistant Boys Varsity and JV Girls coach at Luxemburg-Casco
Tim played soccer from his youth through high school, and was reintroduced to the game when his oldest son started playing at age 6. He coached for three years in Kewaunee County before joining Lightening last season. 2008 will be his second full season coaching U11 boys with our program. With two boys now involved with soccer he will also be coaching at the U8 level in Kewaunee this summer. Tim is a board member for the newly formed Luxemburg/Casco Soccer Club and try’s to play himself when time allows. When Tim and his son’s are not participating in soccer they can be found trying to talk mom into letting them go fishing or hunting.
