4th Annual Father's Day Game A Huge Hit!!
Our 4th Annual Father's Day Game gave our league Dad's a priceless gift: the chance to prove their hockey talent to everyone!! Amid some huffing and puffing, a few creaky muscles, some "Please slow down, son", and plenty of Advil, the Dad's, as well as the kids, helped put on a great day of fun and excitement at the rink!! The league would like to extend special thanks to league parent and board member Graeme Whitley, for putting together this year's Father's Day event. The weather was great, the Moms had alot of fun (and a few laughs), and the kids took it easy on the Dads, as each of our Father's Day Game divisions (U8, U13, and U17) put on a good show for everyone. There were some reports of some Dads feeling a few muscle aches the next morning, but given the great shape all our Dads are in, that must just be alot of talk!! We got alot of great pictures from each of the games and have now posted them in our pictures section of the website. You can find them under the U8, U13, and U17 divisions that we had for our Father's Day games. The league thanks all our Dad's, who certainly made their kids proud that day!!
