Friday 16th April

NSW WIN 5TH NATIONAL TITLE IN A ROW!

Game 1: The Queensland Sundevils defeated the SA Swarm 27-13 to finish the tournament 5th and 6th respectively.

Game 2: The WA Raiders defeated the ACT Monarchs 49-6 to finish 3rd and 4th respectively. 

Game 3: The Championship Game. The NSW Wolfpack win their 5th National Championship title in a row by defeating the Victorian Eagles 28-7.

Wednesday 14th April

The NSW Wolfpack held off a determined WA Raiders team and a last minute drive down the field to win 31-27 and a place in the Championship Game on Friday. 

In the second game the Victorian Eagles secured their place in the Championship Game by defeating the Queensland Sundevils 33-6.

So the schedule for Friday Finals will now be:

10am Queensland Sundevils v SA Swarm 

2pm WA Raiders v ACT Monarchs

6pm Victorian Eagles v NSW Wolfpack

Monday 12th April

The ACT Monarchs came from behind in the dying seconds of the game to defeat the Queensland Sundevils 12-9. 

In an even closer game, the WA Raiders just beat the SA Swarm 20-18.

Tuesday is another rest day for the teams. Then on Wednesday the NSW Wolfpack take on the WA Raiders at 10:30am and the Queensland Sundevils go up against the Victorian Eagles at 3pm. These games will determine the final standings in the two pools and therefore the match ups for the finals on Friday.

Saturday 10th April 

The Victorian Eagles open the tournament with a 40-0 shut out over the ACT Monarchs.

Another shut out occured in the second game when the NSW Wolfpack started the defence of their 2008 Championship title by defeating the SA Swarm 46-0.

Sunday is a rest day for the teams. Then on Monday the ACT Monarchs try to redeem some pride when they take on the Queensland Sundevils at 10:30am. And at 3pm the SA Swarm try the same when they play the WA Raiders.

7 days to go!

The 2010 National Championships will commence on Saturday the 10th of April with the Opening Ceremony at 12:30pm. Then at 1pm the Victorian Eagles will take on the ACT Monarchs in the opening game of the Tournament. This will be followed at 5pm by the SA Swarm taking on the 4 times National Champions, the NSW Wolfpack.
