Take I-75 south of Dalton, Ga., exit #136 (Dalton/Walnut Ave.). Travel east on US 76/GA 52 to Ellijay. Take GA 52 toward Dahlonega and follow it until it intersects GA 9. Follow GA 9 north to Dahlonega, at the first stoplight turn right onto Barlow Road and the field is on the left. (From Dalton: 90 min.) |
Directions to Yahoola Creek Park. The Address is: 1166 Captain McDonald Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533. You can go to Lumpkin Co. website: http://www.lumpkincounty.gov/index.php?go=directions&nav=goto
And put in your address but here is the best way I’ve found: Use the same directions as above to the college but at Morrison Moore Parkway you turn right. Go to the 2nd street on the right which is Mechanicsville Rd. Follow it past all the old fields and it eventually ends up in the park after about a mile. You will see the softball fields on the right.
