Georgia Fire Women's Softball team officially becomes the Wilson Select Women's Softball team.   After the trip to Puerto Rico last summer as the Wilson Select team, we decided to continue with that name.   We appreciate the years with the Ga. Fire organization and all the memories.

Wilson Select is a Women's Amateur NPF Team with a roster of current or recently graduated college players.  Wilson Select Women's softball becomes one of 8 teams in the UCBL for 2011.   USSSA College and Beyond League is a Minor league program for the NPF, National Pro Fastpitch League.   Each UCBL team will be an amateur league team for one of the NPF teams in 2011.  Wilson Select is part of the NPF Diamond in 2011.  Tryouts for these teams will begin in early June so stay tuned.
