2007 - Hershey Track and Field - Ontario Finals

Congratulations to Alex for qualifying for the 
2007 Hershey Track and Field - Ontario Finals
held in Oshawa on June 23, 2007. 

On June 23rd, Alex participated in the 1600m and 800m races. 
She finished second in the 1600m race, and came first in the 800m race.

Alex's times will be submitted to the Zone 1
co-ordinator, where she will be compared with competitors from eight states.  The top finishers will go to the Hershey - North American Finals on August 2 - 4  in Hershey PA

2007 DPCDSB Basketball Championship.

Stewarttown Middle School 
Wins Halton Board Championship

The Panthers are good at many different sports. 
We have Panthers who play at a high level in hockey, volleyball, dance, and track and field,
(just to name a few.) 

Congratulations to Alex and Maggie, members of the Stewarttown Middle School Grade Eight Girls Volleyball Team.  The ladies won the Halton District School Board Volleyball Championship
on November 28, 2006.    Congratulations!!!




Impact -Bugarski Cup

Georgetown Impact Black - GU14 - Volleyball Team win Bugarski Cup

On February 24th, 2007 the GU14-Georgetown Impact Black girls volleyball team competed in the Tier II Bugarski Cup, held at Mayfield Secondary School.   Playing their best volleyball of the year, they went undefeated,  eliminating the Durham Attack in the semi-finals and DRVC in the final. 
This is their second gold medal of the year, also winning the Provincial Cup in November 2006.  They are looking forward to the Ontario Volleyball Championships on April 21, 22, 2007.  Congratulations Alex and Maggie
