Welcome to the Ft Zumwalt West Hockey Club website!! We are located in O'Fallon Missouri and are currently carrying a Varsity and JV team in the MIdstates League and C Team in the Thompson League.
IMPORTANT INFO AND DATES:
Summer Ice Camp !! June 18, June 23, and June 30
July 9, July 14, and July 21 at Lindenwood Ice Rink.
Two times are being offered each night:
A: 7:00-8:00pm
B: 8:10-9:10pm
These sessions are free to those who played the season of 08-09. All other eligible players for the upcoming season will pay $50 for all six sessions. This is an opportunity to work with the coaching staff for next season and prepare for tryouts.

Please join us in welcoming the new Head Coach of the FZW Jaguars, Lindsay Middlebrook. The club will provide pizza. Now, all we need for you to bring are sides or desserts to share. We have obtained an alcohol permit but no glass is permitted - bring your own drinks.
WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WILL BE JOINING US FOR PIZZA SO WE CAN ORDER ACCORDINGLY SO PLEASE RESPOND BY FRIDAY MORNING JULY 10TH AT THE LATEST...THANKS !!

Make a left on Hwy P and the park should be on the left side of the road about 1/2 mile down. We have reserved a large shelter so please join us for a fun afternoon.

2009-2010 Season Tryouts !!
August: Tuesday 11th from 7-9:10pm, Wednesday 12th from 8:40-10:50pm, Friday 14th from 7-9:10pm, and Monday 17th from 7-9:10pm. All tryouts will be held at Lindenwood Ice Rink in Wentzville.
You will need to contact Lisa Rigsby-Club Secretary/Registrar if you are interested in trying out for the club to obtain further information. You may contact her at lrigsby@yahoo.com or 636-696-2929. As we get closer to the dates you will be assigned your first tryout time. If you are considering trying out please let us know by July 25!! We would like to get a general idea of how many skaters we may have. Thanks !

WINNERS OF THE ZUMWALT CUP CHAMPIONSHIP BY BEATING FZ SOUTH BULLDOGS 8-2!!
THE VARSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE MARQUETTE PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT AND FINISHED SECOND PLACE. GREAT JOB VARSITY !!
THE VARSITY JAGS RANKED IN THE CHALLENGE CUP AGAIN THIS YEAR !! THEIR FIRST PLAYOFF GAMES WERE AGAINST THE HIGHLY RANKED DESMET TEAM. THE JAGS LOST BOTH GAMES BUT KEPT THEM CLOSE AT HAND WITH 3-0 AND 4-2 SCORES.
CONGRATS TO THE 08-09 FZW JV JAGS
WINNERS OF THE "HAVOC" TOURNAMENT in the JV division by defeating Mt. Carmel by the score of 3 - 1 in the final championship game on Sunday. THE JV JAGS WENT UNDEFEATED THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT.
THE JV JAGS TOOK 2ND PLACE IN THE DESMET TOURNAMENT IN DECEMBER 2008. THEY BEAT VIANNY IN THE SEMI FINAL AND MOVED ON TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AND LOST TO DESMET. GREAT JOB JV !!!
THE JV JAGS PLAYED A CLOSE SEMI FINAL GAME BUT AN EMPTY NET GOAL SEALED IT FOR FHN. CONGRATS TO THE JV JAGS AND THEIR SECOND PLACE FINISH IN THE DIVISION.

THE C JAGS FINISHED TIED FOR 1ST PLACE OVERALL OUT OF 20 TEAMS IN THE THOMPSON LEAGUE
THE C JAGS TOOK 2ND PLACE IN THE THOMPSON NORTHPOLE SHOOTOUT IN DECEMBER 2008. THEY LOST IN A SHOOTOUT TO PATTONVILLE AFTER THEY SKATED TO A 0-0 TIE IN TH EGAME. GREAT JOB C JAGS !!
WINNERS OF THE "BANTAM A" BRICKYARD TOURNAMENT IN INDIANAPOLIS JAN 16-19, 2009. THEY PLAYED THEIR HEARTS OUT TO BEAT THE COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS 4-2 AND TOOK HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH HARD WORK AND CLASS. WAY TO GO C JAGS !!!
THE C TEAM JAGS SKATED TO A 4-4 TIE IN THE PRESIDENT'S DAY TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. THE GAME WENT TO A SUDDEN DEATH 5 MINUTE OVERTIME AND WITH ABOUT 30 SECONDS REMAINING, THE ICE DOGS SCORED TO WIN 5-4. CONGRATS C JAGS AND GREAT JOB !!
THE C JAGS PLAYED THREE GAMES IN THE GOLD DIVISION END-OF-SEASON TOURNAMENT AND MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE SEMI-FINAL GAME BY BEATING TOUGH PATTONVILLE AND ROCKWOOD SUMMIT TEAMS!!
