TUESDAY, APRIL 2nd: DE ADRIAN CLAYBORN AND BUCCANEERS CHEERLEADERS VISIT SHRINERS HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN-TAMPA

Since 1999, pediatric patients admitted to eight local children's hospitals have received a welcomed surprise thanks to the Glazer Family Foundation's "Cheering You On!" program. The initiative donates brand new Tampa Bay Buccaneers teddy bears to children battling injury and illness, bringing a bit of cheer to an otherwise unpleasant experience.

At Shriners Hospitals for Children-Tampa on Tuesday, that "Buccaneers surprise" came with an added bonus: defensive end Adrian Clayborn accompanied by Buccaneers Cheerleaders Kasey and Tricia, stopping by to deliver the teddy bears in person.

"I like coming to see kids and just try to brighten their day when they're in a tough situation like that," said Clayborn. "It does more for us, I think, than it does for them, because it puts things into perspective of how hard life is for some kids... so it's always fun."

BUCCANEERS.COM THREE-PART Q&A WITH TWO-TIME PRO BOWL GUARD DAVIN JOSEPH: NFL-USO TOUR OF THE MIDDLE EAST

From March 14th-21st, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl guard Davin Joseph took part in an NFL-USO tour of the Middle East, bringing support, encouragement and a taste of home to U.S. troops serving abroad.  Part of a star-studded crew that also included Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey, Cleveland Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, Broncos linebacker Von Miller, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, Joseph carried on a morale-building tradition that some of the NFL's biggest icons have participated in over the last 45 years.

For security reasons, players were not allowed to disclose where their itinerary was taking them during any part of the trip.  However, since he has returned stateside, Joseph has sat down with Buccaneers.com for an exclusive three-part question-and-answer session that provides an extensive look at the tour experience.
