BUCCANEERS PLAYERS, GLAZER FAMILY FOUNDATION CONTINUE

TO GIVE THE GIFT OF CLEARER VISION

This week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Glazer Family Foundation continued to give back to those less fortunate while supporting the health and safety of Tampa Bay's youth through the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program. On Wednesday, January 23rd, Buccaneers TE Drake Dunsmore, S Cody Grimm, Buccaneers Cheerleader Jeanne, and Captain Fear traveled toRobles Elementary School to assist the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program deliver prescription eyeglasses to nearly 80 students. The players presented the new eyewear to children who had previously had their eyes screened and were deemed in need of glasses by the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Mobile.

Then on Thursday,Buccaneers T Demar Dotson and Cheerleader Cassie led a visit to West Tampa Elementary School to help the Foundation deliver new prescription glasses to nearly 60 students in need. Thursday and Friday's distributions were the third steps in the Foundation's Vision Program efforts at both elementary schools, which already received visits from the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Mobile for eye screenings as well as follow up visits for students to get fitted for glasses. During both school visits, the players spoke to the students on the importance of healthy eyesight and its correlation to improved educational development.

The Glazer Family Foundation provides free eye screenings and prescription glasses to public school students throughout Tampa Bay. Since its launch, thousands of local youths have been provided this much-needed service that not only detects, but helps correct serious vision problems in those who might not otherwise afford such care. Gasparilla On Saturday, January 26th, the Buccaneers will join all of Tampa Bay in celebrating one of the Bay Area's longest running traditions: Gasparilla.Buccaneers players including LB Mason Foster, DT Roy Miller, and WR Mike Williamswill join Buccaneers Cheerlead ers and staff on the team's float during the Parade of the Pirates at 2:00 p.m. on Bayshore Boulevard to spread Buccaneer cheer throughout the crowd. CHEERLEADING AUDITIONS

TBBC logo with space The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently in search of dynamic candidates to be part of one of the NFL's most elite cheerleading squads. Up to 34 cheerleaders will be selected for the team, which entertains fans at all Buccaneers home games and makes frequent appearances at community and corporate functions. The cheerleaders may also have the opportunity to travel around the country and overseas as representatives of the Buccaneers.

The team will be hostingpre-audition dance and technique classes on Sunday, January 27th, and Sunday, February 10th, at the USF Sun Dome. The classes are non-mandatory sessions that will cover basic dance techniques, NFL-style choreography and kickline drills. Candidates also have the opportunity to attend a pre-audition seminarthat will be held on Wednesday, February 6th, at One Buccaneer Place that covers all of the "need-to-know" tips for an NFL cheerleader audition.Preliminary/open call auditions will take place on Saturday, February 16th, at One Buccaneer Place.
