TRYOUTS FOR 2012-13 CHEERLEADING SQUAD
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in search of dynamic
candidates to be part of one of the NFL's most elite cheerleading squads. Up to
34 cheerleaders will be selected for the team, which entertains fans at all
Buccaneers home games and makes frequent appearances at community and corporate
functions as representatives of the Buccaneers.
Optional
pre-audition dance and technique classes are taking place each Tuesday and
Thursday through March 15 at various Lifestyle Family Fitness and YMCA locations
in Tampa. Candidates also have the opportunity to attend a pre-audition seminar
on Wednesday, March 7 at One Buccaneer Place. The seminar will cover all of the
"need-to-know" tips for an NFL cheerleader audition and will include a question
and answer session with the Buccaneers' Cheerleading department and alumni
cheerleaders.
Candidates 18 years
or older by July 1, 2012, and with all levels of dance/cheer experience are
encouraged to attend the pre-audition classes, seminar, and preliminary
auditions. All candidates must have a high school diploma or a G.E.D. by July 1,

Auditions for the
2012 Buccaneers Cheerleaders will start with an open call on March 17, but those
interested in trying out can prepare themselves beforehand through a series of
pre-audition classes.
