Points Taken
· Always make it a point to bring to the attention of the crew chief any unusual plays that you may have during the pre-game coach & referee meeting.
· Never argue a call that you are not sure you are correct for the sake of just an argument. A coach will never win in this situation.
WATER BREAK REMINDER
Mandatory water breaks will end following the games that are played on Saturday, October 24th. Referee's may still allow water on to the field as needed during officials time-outs for injury or other reasons.

Be an Effective Coach or Administrator; Set By Example.
Recently, two different SICOA crews reported that a youth league administrator entered the field, during a game, in between downs, to question a call that was made. When ordered off the field, he replied that he had the authority since he was the league trustee from that organization. This is totally unacceptable. The only authority figure we recognize during the game is the head coach from each team. Unless a safety factor occurs such as lightning or a seriously injured player, the administrators for any school or youth park need to to remain off the field. Game officials will be happy to discuss any situation at half-time or at the end of a game with the recognized administrator. Never while the game is in progress. This is an example of poor administration. It is also an example of a non player possibly being ejected from the playing site. Let the coaches handle situations during the game when a call or no call occurs. Administrators should set a higher standard by being the cool headed one in case of problems. Not the one that provokes them.
