Friday, October 16 IMPORTANT - Scholastic Eligibility Forms/Home School Form

RE: Scholastic Eligibility Forms/ Home School Form
It is that time of the season when participants using the SEF form to meet the scholastic requirement must submit their progress reports to the league to be signed off on. (That process actually took place on Wed., October 14th.) (*Please make sure that yours have been submitted.)
If you have any participants whose paperwork was not presented to the league scholastic coordinators at that time, they are no longer eligible to participate in the program for the remainder of the season and must be immediately dropped from the roster. Please contact Teresa Barr or Janet Chapin if you have any questions.
Also, to insure that we don't have any issues with ineligible players on our teams/squads ...please have the weigh master or a board member check the SEF forms in each book. Here is what to look for:
On the Player ID Card -- check the scholastic box-- if it says SEF in the box instead of an average, that participant should have a Scholastic Eligibility Form. Next, check the bottom of the SEF form where it says League Use Only, if the child has met the scholastic requirements the form will be marked Satisfactory, have the signature of one of the league scholastic coordinators on it, and have the FYD stamp.
If the child did not meet the requirements the form will be marked Unsatisfactory, it will also have the league scholastic coordinator's signature and the FYD stamp. So please check them carefully. (*All progress reports must remain in the book)

I would like to welcome back our returning Scholastic coordinators for the upcoming season. And take this time to welcome our new coordinators to our team. I know that the start of the new season is fast approaching. So it is important that we are clear on the requirements for scholastic eligibility of all of our participants. Our first meeting for this season will be held on June 30th @ 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Winston Park (its a county park). The address is 7605 Destin Drive , Tampa , 33619.
