Monday, May 7
Games Rained Out on Friday, May 4 rescheduled!!

Below is the schedule for make up times for games that were rained out on Friday, May 4 as well as games that are currently scheduled for Friday, May 11 and have to be moved due to Fairhope vs. Central- Phoenix City Playoff games:

 Make Up Schedule Is As Follows:

TEE BALL –
Games originally scheduled for Friday, May 4 will be made up on Monday, May 14:
5:30p – Yankees vs. A’s (Tee Ball Field)
7:00p – Pirates vs. Angels (Tee Ball Field)

DIXIE BOYS –
Games TBA … Games will be rescheduled later this week after an opportunity to evalute the schedules of the teams affected.



Sunday, May 6
Renovation work to begin next week at Volanta Park

Beginning next week, the City will begin renovating the spectator areas at the Dixie Boys, Minor and Ozone fields, with work starting at the Ozone field on Monday or Tuesday.

This work will consist of forming and pouring additional concrete from the existing bleacher pads to the pressboxes so we can increase the size of the bleacher pads and area available for fans to set up personal chairs and enjoy the game from behind the backstop. The City will work on one side at a time at each field, so at each field both sets of bleachers will be set up on the 1st base side while work is done on the 3rd base side, and then vice-versa while work is done on the 1st base side.

The City anticipates it will take approx 1 week per field to complete the work, so we ask for your patience and understanding during this process. This is an opportunity to have some much needed work done at the park and we know everyone will be pleased with the end result.

For many years, Fairhope Youth Baseball has provided a wonderful environment for the development and encouragement of over 700 young boys and girls in our community.  With so many negative images influencing our children today, it is more important than ever to provide healthy role models and positive influences.  Without support, we cannot make this happen.  We are an all volunteer organization and we depend on our outstanding sponsors to make our baseball program successful.  Our sponsors allow us to make park improvements, purchase equipment and provide many of the other necessary items not covered by player registration fees.  To become a sponsor, click the "Handouts" section to the left and download the 2012 Sponsor Form.  Remember, it's all about the kids!

On August 16, 2011, the following policy and rules changes were adopted by the Board of Directors of Dixie Youth Baseball, Inc. at its annual meeting, at the Little River Golf Resort in Carthage, North Carolina.

Welcome to Fairhope Youth Baseball's Official Website
We've signed on with Eteamz.com to provide Fairhope Youth Baseball with a communication tool to keep players, coaches, parents and fans informed of league activities.

Fairhope Youth Baseball is a league for over 600 boys and girls ages 5 through 14, committed to providing a recreational program that emphasizes sportsmanship, fair play and a family oriented atmosphere.  The league is affiliated with Dixie Youth Baseball for players age 12 and under and Dixie Boys/Majors for ages 13-14.  Our season starts in March and runs through early June, with year end tournaments extending into early August.
