2008 SCORPIONS Football season . Scores posted in calendar
" AAU TACKLE/FLAG FOOTBALL\CHEER " AAU is the oldest, largest youth/adult sports program in the world. Growing premier athletes in over 30 sports. This is their 2nd year offering tackle football. Like in all the other sports, this National football/cheer program will offer a State, Regional and National Championship venue like none of the others can.
In 2007Our unlimited weight 12U team WENT 4-1 AT THE AAU National Championship games in Florida to take 2ND place in the NATION, losing to the Detroit Cougars (An Outstanding team). Unlike other National youth football program, AAU does not have a division 1, 2 & 3, with 1 being the best. In AAU you bring your best as long as they are in the right age group. You can hold try-outs, you can cut players, you don’t have an MPR to go by and weight is not and issue from 9U & up. This makes AAU the most realistic and toughest youth football program around. This team has had an excellent season with a 17-2 overall record. While we were at the National games the kids had a ball at SeaWorld & Universal studios. They did school work, went swimming, shopping & again just enjoyed themselves. Thanks again for your support. Our 8u limited weight team has gone undefeated thought there 8 game season, winning the AAU VA, DC & MD CHAMPIONSHIP CROWN. They will be playing in the MD state championship tournament starting the 8th of December and if they win, they will be playing for the championship at the Baltimore Ravens stadium on the 15th of December. Our 10U unlimited team finished in the top spot also being the number ONE team in VA, DC & MD AAU football. With a regular season record of 5-0-1 and an overall record of 5-4-1. WAY TO GO SCORPIONS!!!!!
In 2008 Our 12U placed 2nd in the District. Our last seasons 12U moved up to 14U this season and placed 1st in the League, 1st in the Region and 1st in the NATION!!! for AAU tackle football. We would like to also congratulate the 12U Manassas Hokies for placing 2nd in the Nation in a tight 18 - 20 game.
