Ft Wayne Phantoms U 18 Midget AA WIN STATE TITLE
The Ft Wayne Phantoms Midget AA Phantoms won the Indiana Tier II Midget AA State Championship with a 2-1 victory over the Hoosier Wings. Ryan Cybulski scored 2 goals including the game winner with 2 minutes 10 seconds left in the game on an assist from Kyle Hartman. Josh Riebersal assisted on the first goal. The Phantoms defense held was solid and killed 12 penalties. Tommie Shears was once again solid in net saving 35 of 36 shots. The Phantoms next step is the Mid AM Districts in Pittsburg Pennsylvania starting on March 16th.
