Fountain Valley Little League: current Divisions
Players age 13 and 14 years old, play at local high schools on 90' fields.
Majors
The highest division of Little League. Players in the Major Division annually compete for the honor of going to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Minor A
Minor A is the higher of the two Minor divisions in the League for kids 9-11 years old. Try-outs are required. The goal of the Minor League is to prepare children for eventual selection to a Major Division team.
Minor B
Minor B is the first kid-pitch division for players 8-10. Try-outs are required. The goal of the Minor League is to prepare children for eventual selection to a Major Division team.
Farm
Farm is the coach-pitch division for players 6, 7 and 8 years old (6 year olds must have played at least one year of tee ball to play in Farm). Like tee ball, the primary goal of the farm division is to have fun, to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball, and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.
Tee Ball Plus
Players age 5 and 6 years old. This division will play tee ball for the first half of the season, moving to coach pitch for the second half.
Tee Ball
League age 4 and 5 years old.
