The Future Stars Outreach Program focuses on providing disadvantage, at-risk youth with a comprehensive program that will improve their sense of worth, confidence and self-discipline. The Program uses the teaching of basketball and baseball skills to introduce a strong "Lessons of Life^TM " educational program and encourages each participant to improve their academic performance in school.


This program will provide boys and girls with a fundamental skills program. Included in each session is a "Lessons of Life^TM " educational program, or our "sports related" math, reading, social studies and other language arts, developed specifically for at-risk youth.

The program process will use sports as a motivation to successfully completing school work and homework which encourages positive behavior and good character. The combination of learning how to play basketball or any other sport the correct way, understanding the "Lessons of Life^TM " educational program, encouraging participation after completing school work and "Future Stars" homework propels each participant towards reaching their full potential.

This program provides the opportunity to positively effect the life of the child. Children today face enormous problems with severe consequences. Today's youth are tomorrow's work force, leaders, and parents. This program is a commitment to make sure today's children have the necessary skills to provide them with a foundation for success and make them valuable members of society.

As a sequel to the Outreach Program, Jim Olayos, intuitively saw the need for a way to continue to offer Future Stars Programs via the Outreach Program and thus instituted the "Future Stars Children's Foundation©".
