CONGRADULATIONS TO ALL THE 2008 FIRECRACKERS FURY 14U SOFTBALL TEAM MEMBERS FOR THEIR GREAT DEDICATION AND TEAM SPIRIT ! IT HAS BEEN A TRULY INSPIRING SEASON  

Tournament Updates:

The 2008 Firecrackers Fury 14U Team completed it's Summer Schedule with a   54-13-3 Record

Fury plays in the Year End Tewksbury Tournament in the 16U age group and goes through pool play undefeated earning the # 1 seed entering bracket play, in Sundays first game the team comes back from being down 2-0 with no one on and 1 out in the final frame to tie the score and goes on to win it in the 8th inning. The team however loses in the semi final game to finish in 3RD Place

Fury 14U team steps up and enters the Swansea Summer Slam 16U Tournament and is the only team to go "UNDEFEATED" and defeats a good Mass. Drifters Elite 16U team in a close 4-2 final game to take home "1ST PLACE" and the "CHAMPIONSHIP"

Fury plays in the F.A.S.T National Championship in Florida and after some close pool play loses and wins closes out with some decent brackett play beating the National 2 seed N.J Jaxx, the N.J state 14U champions who held a combined record of over 50 wins against 1 loss to finish in the top 10- Updates to come

Fury goes "UNDEFEATED" winning 5 straight games and out-scoring some very strong  competition 40-6 on their way to the  "2008 NSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP" including 2 wins over the always tough C.M Thunder while taking home 1ST PLACE

Fury goes 4-1-1 and were expecting to compete for the championship but were once again  "RAINED OUT"

Fury goes 6-2 in the Mass ASA "A" Championship and suffers a 2-0 loss in finals play to a tough, classy nemisis C.M Thunder for 2nd Place

Fury goes 3-0 at Fathers day bash  and although UNDEFEATED must settle for 2nd Place -- due to "Rain OUT"

FURY ASA Nat'l Qualifier CHAMPS !!! going 5-0 and taking home 1ST PLACE

Fury goes 5-1-1 in the Patriot Tournament & falls 1 run short in finals play to the Capitol Region Rampage of N.Y, the Pony Nationally ranked 9th place team for 2nd Place 

Fury goes 5-1 at Memorial Day Classic losing by 1 run in finals to take 2nd Place

Fury goes 3-2 at CT Eliminators Mothers Day Classic to finish in 3rd Place 

Fury goes 3-0 at May Madness and are UNDEFEATED but due to inclimate weather recieve 2nd place -- due to "Rain Out"

The 2008 Firecrackers Fury 14U team ends it's summer season with  a 54-13-3 record on the season, with two 1 run and two 2 run losses in Tournament Finals play, the team was also UNDEFEATED and facing Championship play in two other tournaments only to be rained out, this  success along with an "NSA Host" and "F.A.S.T National" invitation earned the team "12" National Tournament Berths in 2008 including Pony, ASA 14U and ASA 16U, NSA 14U, NSA 16U and F.A.S.T
