FundamentalBBall: Testimonials

Coach Brunson has been a major part of the NJ AAU circuit. Over the years he has been instrumental in training so many young men the fundamentals  needed to acquire full athletic scholarships. Not only has he coached and taught on the court, but of the court the personal interest that he has taken in the young men that he  has helped  is phenomenal.  Many of the young men are fatherless and coach helped them by becoming that father figure and providing the guidance needed to help them succeed. Personally he has had a hand in getting scholarships for my son and nephew.  To this day players from seasons past keep in contact with coach Brunson because of the way he has and continues to mentor them in basketball and in life.

I highly recommend Coach Brunson's training.  Coach Brunson has a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed at the next level.  His experience as a player at the highest level along with his exceptional knowledge of the game enables him to be a valuable teacher.  I have been fortunate to coach a few players that were trained under the direction of Coach Brunson before they entered college.  The players were physically prepared, their skill set was very polished, and they were mentally tough and competitive.  Any player that is trained by Coach Brunson will definitely improve and learn what it takes to be successful at the next level.

This note is to inform interested individuals, and parties of the important and needed work and positive influences that both Rich Brunson and Darius Griffin are having on young men through the vehicle of basketball. It is my hope that their grassroots efforts are supported and funded to a level that allows them to expand and continue to touch young lives for many years to come. Both men have experience very successful high school, and college basketball careers as well as professional careers. These experiences can be very vital and helpful in helping young aspiring men in there quest to achieve. Having been a college teammate and friend to both Rich Brunson and Darius Griffin at Rutgers University I can vouch for there passion and excitement to build there program.

"Rich Brunson and Darius Griffin are two former college players who know the game and can teach the fundamentals. If you are a player at any level trying to improve your skills, you need to follow their program. They will take your talent/skills to the next level. And, they do it the "right" way by breaking the game down to it's simplest form where a young and/or experienced player will get better"...

Ed Butler (EKB (NJ) Scouting Service)

"Rich worked camp for me at Seton hall for 5 years and I have known him for close to ten years now. Over the years, he has demonstrated great basketball knowledge, a passion for the game and an enthusiastic work ethic.  However, more than anything he has proven to be a loyal and dependable friend.  Any young kid would be fortunate to be under Rich’s tutelage".
