Welcome, I have put together a page with some useful coaching information. Site will be updated from time to time, so please check back.
It is the goal of NYSWYSA and FYS to coach using the coaches toolbox when developing soccer players. This set of guideline should be used to help coaches correctly train their players. We as coaches (teachers of the game of soccer) should allow all players to make mistakes and be there to guide them to the correct solution. Players love to solve problems, using the guided discovery method helps children find the soccer answers needed to become developed players.
1. Coach within the flow of the game/session
2. Coach the individual as the game continues
3. Coach at nature stoppages
4. Allow the conditions of the game to coach the themes.
5. Coach using the freeze method
