Practices: To improve player skills and enhance coaching, we will have group practices for all teams as follows:
U6: Monday
U8: Tuesday
U10 and U12: Wednesday

*** Practice time at Chase Rd may be flexible due to coaches schedules ***

Proper Attire

All players will receive a "new" style soccer jersey. All players should were their team jersey, shin guards, and cleats for all games. Shin guards and cleats should be worn for all practices. Since your child will be playing in a variety of conditions, special attention should be given to their attire. Team jersey's should always be worn as the outer most layer. All players should bring a water bottle to both the practices and the games.

Snack Bar:

All parents are enrolled in the snack bar volunteer program. A schedule of who is assigned to work in the snack bar will be provided to you. It is requested that you work one 30 minute slot prior to your child's game. Please keep this commitment. It is easy and fun.

This volunteer program allows all players and spectators to enjoy refreshments while at the complex.

Parking

Please park in the rear of the complex. There is no parking along the entrance road or near the entrance to the parking lot, as these are designated fire lanes.

There are handicap spaces in the front by the building. All spectators and players should enter the fields by the main entrance at the pavilion. For safety sake, please do not enter from the road or the woods.

Weather/Cancellations/Rescheduling

In order to ensure that all in-house games are played during a session, FYSL does not cancel games for rain, snow or other weather related conditions. In the event of lightning, the effected game will be cancelled at the field. In the unlikely event that a game needs to be rescheduled, the age group coordinator will ultimately decide the rescheduled time.

Fulton Youth Soccer Travel Teams
The FYSL is proud to have several teams involved in the Central New York Junior Soccer Association League. Local teams compete with other travel teams from the Western New York area. League play begins in mid to late May for the younger players and in June for the older players. Teams play an eight game schedule, four away games and four home games. These games are held during the week, usually starting at 6:30pm. Parents are responsible for the transportation of their players to and from games.
Players must meet the age requirements for each age group in the travel program. Boys and girls are divided into separate divisions, although girls are able to play in the boys division. Divisions start at U9 (meaning the player cannot turn 9 until August 1st of that year) and continue up through U19. Each player is required to have a photo pass. The Travel Team Committee coordinates the issuing of these passes.
FYSL attempts to field teams in each division. In the event a team is not available for your player's age group, they may try-out for an older age group. Refunds are made to players who are unable to be placed on a team.
Coaches are encouraged to provide as much playing time as possible, but a minimum amount of game time is not guaranteed.
Throughout the travel season, some of the FYSL teams choose to participate in tournaments. These tournaments will include additional fees. These additional fees are the responsibility of the player.
Our teams play in the Central New York Junior Soccer Association League. You can learn more about the league at its website; www.cnyjsa.org.
