Tryouts For Fall Season U13 Cosmos
Tryouts for the fall season will be June 2nd and June 4th at Whittier Park at 6:00 P.M. We will be playing a 11 v. 11 format instead of the 8 v. 8 we are playing now. The Cosmos are looking to add talented and committed players for next year. Any questions can be directed to Paul Bryan at p.bryan@myactv.net
MSC March Madness Patriot Div. Champs
U12 Boys Cosmos playing in the MSI March Madness tournament in Montgomery Soccer Plex open the tournament first day with 3-1 win over Bethesda Strikers and ending with a resounding 5-0 win over MSI Cougars. Cosmos move into tournament final with 2-0 win over the MSI Musketeers. In the Championship game. Andreas Florez-Rico scored two goals and drew a penalty kick that Akheem Riley buried home. Final score Cosmos 3, Germantown Lions 0.
Andrew Bryan was in net for the shutout. Justin Lee had 4 goals and 2 assists. Andres Florez-Rico had 4 goals and 3 assists. A well balanced attack on the weekend where 7 different players made the score sheet.
The back line players for the Cosmos have been outstanding this weekend allowing only one goal in the tournament
