  • Brian McBride Fan Page - A fan page dedicated to Brian McBride. McBride is a forward on the Columbus Crew and the U.S. Men's National Team.

  • Cincinnati Riverhawks - Cincinnati's professional men's team, affiliated with the Columbus Crew of the MLS. The Riverhawks compete in the USL A-League.

  • Cincinnati Ladyhawks - Cincinnati's first professional women's team. The Ladyhawks compete in the USL W-League.

  • Miami Redskins Soccer - The home of Miami University (Ohio) Women's Soccer. They recently changed their name and mascot.

  • NCAA Guide - The NCAA guide for the college-bound student-athlete.

  • NKU Norse - The official home page for the Athletics Department at Northern Kentucky University. Their women's soccer team is one of the best in the country.

  • Ohio State University Buckeyes - The official home page of OSU athletics.

  • Ohio University Bobcats - The official home page of OU Women's Soccer.

  • Slippery Rock University - The official home page of athletics at "The Rock". I do not know anyone who attended this school, I just like the name.

  • Soccer Scout - Great site. Soccer Scout is the comprehensive scouting database which will expose as many young players as possible to clubs around the world, and to colleges in the U.S.A. Soccer clubs and colleges will have FREE access to all of this information. This site will help young players interested in joining a Professional Club, or hoping for a College Scholarship in the U.S.A. Using the power of the Internet, this site will replace sending portfolios or resumes by regular mail or by fax. This is one to bookmark.

  • Soccer Information Systems - Informative site centering on college games and info. Maintains a comprehensive listing of team schedules. If you're a coach of a college team or run the team's site, check this place out and get your team's schedule is listed. Links to internetsoccer.com network.

  • Top Jock - This is a site that helps high school student-athletes reach college coaches.

  • University of Cincinnati Bearcats - The Cats' official home page.

  • The Coaching Corner - This is an excellent site that has information geared towards youth coaches. Sports covered are soccer, baseball, basketball, and football.

  • eteamz Coaching Tips and Drills - A nice selection of soccer tips and drills from the experts at eteamz.

  • eteamz Tips for New Coaches - This is a "must read" for new parent/coaches. A lot of good information.

  • FUNdamental Soccer - Informational site for coaches, with various books and manuals available for purchase.

  • Internet Soccer Clinics - This site was designed to help coaches with a variety of coaching topics.

  • NAYSI On-Line Coaching Course - Free, on-line coaches clinic. Excellent resource.

  • Soccer Coaching Net - Exactly what the name implies. This site serves as a meeting place for coaches to discuss all aspects of coaching. Discussion boards, articles, links and more.

  • Soccerdoc - Soccerdoc's "Coaching the Great Game". This site places an emphasis on drills for short-sided games.

  • Sports 3D - At this site you can purchase software for a virtual soccer camp in a 3D environment. They will also send you a free pair of 3D glasses.

  • Success in Soccer - Lots of coaching reference material available for purchase. Books, magazines, videos, etc.

  • Successful Soccer Coaching - Coaching how-tos on skills, drills, tactics, etc.

  • The Soccer Coach - The Soccer Coach is a site with information on the game and tips on better coaching in many different aspects and levels of the game.

  • Tutornuway - Tutornuway makes coloring books. That's right. It's an educational tool and an approach to teaching youth sports. Other materials and books are also available for purchase and many sports (including soccer) are available.

  • University of North Carolina (Ashville) - A site dedicated to the UNC ? Ashville Women's Soccer Team. Placed in this section (Instead of college sites) because of the information for coaches. Check out the "Keepers' Corner".

  • Girls? Soccer World Online - This site is a sister site to Women's Soccer World and is aimed at the 18 and under crowd. Listings of clubs, training tips, a very active message board, news and more. Nice site.

  • Kick! Magazine - Kick! Magazine has news features, tips & training, and more.

  • Performance Soccer Conditioning - A newsletter dedicated to improving the soccer athlete.

  • Play Hard ? Play Smart - Online magazine about youth soccer. Contains articles by coaches, players, parents, trainers, and referees.

  • Soccer America - Great news and information on Soccer in the United States.

  • Soccer Buzz Magazine - The home of women's college soccer on the web.

  • Soccer Jr. - Online version of the popular, family-oriented magazine.

Reference, Search Engines, and Links

  • Al Sinclair's Bookmarks - The name says it all. This is simply a large list of soccer-related links. I came across a few dead links, but it is still worth the visit.

  • AltaVista - Very good search engine and now internet portal. If you learn the workings of any one search site well ... make it this one. You can also join and customize ("Live"), get email, and more. AltaVista now has their own streaming media player and messenger.

  • Bob's Youth Soccer World - A nicely done site that is basically a directory of sites of interest to Youth Soccer. If you have a youth soccer team, go to this site and list it. Check out the message boards. Lots of links!

  • C4 - Good search engine. Customizable start page with news, weather, miscellaneous content and a whopping 10meg. of free email!

  • Dog Pile - "All results, no mess". One of my favorite search engines. This one is very easy to use. Type what you're looking for and click the "Fetch" button. Dog Pile automatically searches other search engines for you. Also, my kids love the name! One to bookmark.

  • got Soccer? - Lots of links, with information on camps, tournaments, and tryouts. Books, videos, and equipment available for purchase.

  • My Virtual Reference Desk - A very important reference site. This site has thousands of links in just about every reference category, and more! It is easy to get side-tracked here., there's a lot to see. Find their remote site map for easier navigation if you need it. This is one to bookmark!

  • NTU Special Engines - Nanyang Technological University directory of special search engines. Impressive. One to bookmark perhaps.

  • Oingo - Not having good results with normal search engines? Try '"Meaning-based search" at Oingo! Great search site!

  • Quick Browse - Great metasearch site with unique interface and great functionality. Nothing like you've seen elsewhere. Click on the "MyQuickBrowse" button to get more functions. Very nice!

  • SearchEngineColossus - This is probably one of the largest listings of search engines available. Many specialty search engines are also listed. This is not a search engine ... it is a directory of engines. Quite impressive.

  • Soccer Links - Their database of links is one of the largest of active links on the internet. All links are regularly checked.

  • Soccer Sites of Interest - Links page of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).

  • The Soccer Spot - History - This site has an incredible amount of information on the history of soccer in the United States.

  • The Soccer Spot ? Search Engine - One of the best search engines on the web dedicated to the sport of soccer.

  • Soccer-Sites - Huge directory of soccer sites! Do you have a club or team? If so, click this one and get listed. This site also has message boards and chat. Searchable!

  • Surf Wax - Surf Wax is an interesting metasearch engine. Unique indexing interface. Check it out.

  • Sweet Sites - A large directory of soccer-related sites from SweetSpot Soccer.

  • Ultimate Women's Soccer Links - The name says it all. A large list of sites dedicated to women's soccer. Links to nearly 800 sites (as of Jan. 2002), with more sites added regularly.

  • U.S. Soccer Links - Large listings of soccer teams, clubs, and organizations in the United States. Over 400 links here.

  • Women?s Soccer Links - This is another site to visit for links relating to women's soccer, especially college teams. A nice site with lots of links.

  • American Soccer History - A good overview of the history of soccer in America.

  • The Bootiful Game - This is the former "Spotlight Site" for the Chelsea Ladies soccer team. Now, it's a general site focusing on all the aspects of Soccer (or "Footy" as it's sometimes called in the UK), that make it a memorable game.   • ESPN Soccer - ESPN soccer site with news articles from around the world.

  • Internet Soccer - Very large, informative site full of news and links. MLS news, world calendar, and world rankings.

  • iSoccerMom - A site for Moms and Dads of soccer players, as well as the players. Has information covering aspects of the game, parenting, links, and stuff for kids.

  • National Soccer Hall of Fame - Official website of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, located in Oneonta, New York.

  • Pele ! - Information about the greatest soccer player to ever step onto the pitch.

  • Sam?s Army - Home page for the unofficial fan club of U.S. Soccer. Lots of information and links to other sites.

  • soccer.com - Soccer site with international and national news. You can enter your zip code and it will search TV listings for televised games in your area. Also has a soccer-specific search engine. As a side note, I would guess this is a much sought-after domain name!

  • Our Collection of Soccer Pictures - The name says it all. Pictures of national and international soccer stars.

  • Soccer Pong - One for the kids, the bored, or the oddly nostalgic! Yes, it's the old video game Pong, using a soccer ball. (Although it would be far more fun if you didn't have to play both sides of the field!).

  • Soccer Sites - Free site hosting for teams. Information for coaches and players, as well as news and league updates.

  • Soccer TV - TV, cable, and satellite listings for more televised games than you could ever hope to watch. Go to the bottom of the page for specific teams.

  • Sweet Spot Soccer - What are those things they're wearing on their cleats? Go to the "Sweet Spot" to find out! Miscellaneous soccer stuff.

  • Tips for Soccer Moms and Dads - Site covering aspects of coaching and being the parent of a young athlete.

  • Umbro Soccer - Lots of news, features, tips, and games.

  • Women's Soccer Resume Page - This site offers a free place for anyone involved in women's soccer to post a resume; players, coaches, etc. You can include a picture with your resume.

  • Abbotsford Cardinals - The Cardinals are a baseball club from British Columbia, Canada. This site is filled with lots of great things to explore. Great photo albums. A former eteamz "Spotlight" winner.

  • AHL - The official site of the American Hockey League. The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks play in the Western Conference.

  • Cincinnati Bengals - The official site of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals claim to be a professional football team playing in the NFL. 'Nuff said.

  • Cincinnati Ben-Gals - Based upon the way the Bengals have played over the course of the last decade, this page probably gets more hits than the home page!

  • Cincinnati Cyclones - The official site of the "Clones". The Cyclones are affiliated with the Florida Panthers of the NHL.

  • Cincinnati Mighty Ducks - The official site of the Ducks. The Ducks are affiliated with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks of the NHL.

  • Cincinnati Reds - The official site of the "Big Red Machine". The Reds, who play in the National League (MLB),won the World Series in 1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990.

  • ECHL - The official site of the East Coast Hockey League. The Cincinnati Cyclones play in this league.

  • California Youth Baseball and Softball - The most professionally designed of any eteamz site I've visited. Webmaster Dean knows what he's doing, and he donates a lot of time answering other users questions on the Support Boards. Numerous sites on our "Kids' Links" pages were recommended by Dean and Linda, and they provided the graphics for those sites listed. Check out their site and sign the guestbook while you're there.

  • Crosstrainer - Crosstrainer II is an excellent integrated fitness/training/diet/nutrition program. It is shareware (download has trial period), but worth it. This program is for everyone, all fitness levels, athlete or not. There is far too much to describe here. Great support. Highly recommended.

  • Digital Ballparks - The world's only online stadium museum.

  • ESPN - The official site of ESPN sports.

  • First Base Sports - "Teaching the world about sports since 1992". First Base Sports offers excellent, affordable spectator's guides for hockey, football, basketball, and soccer. Visit this site to check out the glossaries and hand signals. This is one to bookmark.

  • MLB - The official site of Major League Baseball.

  • NBA - The official site of the National Basketball Association.

  • NFL - The official site of the National Football League. A note to our international visitors ... the players wear helmets in this sport.

  • Rules of the Game - An interesting board game available for purchase. See how well you know the rules of basketball (pro and college), football (pro and college), professional baseball, and professional golf.

  • SOCAL Youth Fastpitch - This is an eteamz site with a "Whole Lotta Links" dedicated to Fastpitch softball. If softball is your game, you should check out this site. Be sure to sign the guestbook when you visit.

  • BFRO - Have you ever been hiking through one of the beautiful forests in Ohio and come across some odd tracks? Did they cause you to ask yourself questions like ? Why is Shaquille O'Neil here? ? Why did he kill that white-tail deer? ? Why is he barefoot?   Well, I've got news for you ? those aren't Shaq's tracks. Check out this site for the stunning answers to these questions, and more.

  • Bored - Very large listing of interesting places to go on the web. You are bound to find something here you'll like.

  • ClassMates - Find old friends from school or the military. Quite an extensive listing of schools, organized by state and town. If you are responsible for organizing a reunion, you'll want to become a member of this site. Get on their e-mail list and you will be notified when someone new from your school joins the site.

  • Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America - The official web site of our local Council. This site is a great local resource for scouts, parents, and scout leaders. If you are a volunteer leader, CLICK HERE to go to the "Virtual Cub Scout Leader Handbook". This is another great online resource for scouters.

  • Dialpad - At Dialpad, you can make free long distance calls via the internet to any residential phone in the US via the computer. Also can make computer to computer calls! Bookmark it!

  • Dynamic Drive - If you are a webmaster, you should check out this site. There are hundreds of FREE, original JavaScripts and DHTML scripts for your site. Categories include menus, images, mouse trail effects, and more!   • Flag of the United States - This site has an incredible amount of information about "Old Glory", the flag of the United States. It has six sections covering the history of our nation's flag, flag etiquette, and much more. This a great resource site for students and parents, alike. Definitely one to bookmark.

  • Free Translation - The fastest web-based translation service available. And it's FREE! At this site, you can translate from English to Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Norwegian. Hey Dude, je peux écrire français!

  • Glier's Goetta - The official web site of goetta, from the home of goetta, Cincinnati, Ohio. Get out the frying pans!

  • God Bless the U.S.A. - This patriotic site has pictures, tributes, information for kids, and more. Make sure you visit this eteamz spotlight site winner.

  • How Stuff Works - An interesting and entertaining site that explains how everything works. Well, almost everything. One to bookmark.

  • Hushmail - Hushmail offers web-based email with a twist...encryption of messages when being sent between Hushmail users.

  • Lyrics Search Engine - This site has complete lyrics for some of today's most popular songs. Find out just what your kids have been listening to. And yes, that song by "Shaggy" is as bad as it sounds.

  • Monitor Camera - Can't afford a P.C. camera? Well don't worry, because this free site will allow you to take your picture with your computer monitor. Amazing technology!

  • Museum of Pez Memorabilia - Interesting diversion for Pez fans. Rememeber that Seinfeld episode with the Tweety Bird dispenser?

  • News Dart - News Dart is found here off of their products link. It is a small, free program that looks for the news that you want to view while you're surfing. Highly configurable. Works great.

  • News Index - News Index allows you to search the headlines and stories of many papers for the stories you want. They also have free (and extremely customizable) tickers for web pages that are quite nice.

  • NWS Wilmington, Ohio - This is the official home page of the National Weather Service site in Wilmington, Ohio. Local forecasts and much more.

  • The Official U.S. Time - This public service is cooperatively provided by the two time agencies of United States: a Department of Commerce agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and its military counterpart, the U. S. Naval Observatory (USNO). Readings from the clocks of these agencies contribute to world time, called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The time maintained by both agencies should never differ by more than 0.000 0001 seconds from UTC.

  • Ohio - The official home page for the State of Ohio. A wealth of information about the state government and services provided.

  • OneWorldNet - Great news site. You can often read articles here seldom reported in mainstream media sources. International focus. Other areas (e.g. "Think Tank") to visit at site that are more than simply reporting the news.

  • Online Conversion - "Convert anything to anything else". Over 8,100 conversions and calculators. (Just for the record, I am 18.5 Hands tall).

  • OPLIN - This is the official web site for Ohio Public Library Information Network. There is a lot of information on this site; it is definitely one to bookmark. OPLIN provides the residents of the State of Ohio fast, free Internet access through the state telecommunications network, as well as the use of high-quality research databases not freely available on the World Wide Web, through their local public libraries.

  • PeopleSearchNet - Nice place to head if you're trying to locate people's email or phone numbers. The site allows you different tactics for getting and displaying the information.

  • Roadside Peek - "An Adventure In Time ... ". Roadside Peek will take you on a roadside journey in time. As you travel, visit old motels, bowling alleys, drive-in theatres, neon signs, petrol pumps, googie sites, tiki villages, and much more.

  • Speed Racer - The official web site of Speed Racer. Admit it, you always wanted a car with a flying robot, retractable saw blades, and the ability to go underwater. If you're a fan of Speed, Pops, Racer X, Trixie, and the rest of the gang, check out this site. You can also CLICK HERE to visit the "Unofficial" site developed by a die-hard fan of the show.

  • Study Web - Study Web is a good site for students, parents, teachers and others. Wide array of categories. Very nice site.

  • Urban Legends Reference Pages - Did Neiman-Marcus really charge a customer $250 for a cookie recipe? Find out the truth about this and other Urban Legends at this site.
