Website & FWLL Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where can I find information to learn if my son is old enough to play this year?
A: Basically, a player needs to be 5 as of April 30, 2010. Kids are all different.
Some will be ready for organized sports at age 5, some will be ready later.
Q: How do I find out if I live within the Friendwood Little League Boundaries?
A: Click on the Handouts link and look at the FWLL Boundaries map. If you live
in the tan area or unincorporated areas you are eligible to play in Friendswood
Little League.
Q: Can girls play in Friendwood Little League?
A: Yes, many girls play and excel in FWLL.
Q: When is registration?
A: FWLL usually conducts in-person registration in December and January for its spring leagues and in August for its fall league. HOWEVER, watch the website and for community signs for exact dates and locations. FWLL also conducts registration online starting a few weeks before in-person registration.
Q: Why can't I access some areas of the website?
A: You must be a member to access some sections of this site. If you are a member and still cannot gain access, it may be a security problem. You must allow cookies for this site to work properly and view all content.
Q: How can I find out information about an event that is on the calendar?
A: Click on the event and its details will be shown.
Q: Where can I find information regarding the t-ball division. I need to know how much my son will be practicing and what days they will be on.
A: Some information can be found in the local rules posted on our website. There are practice limitations for each division; however, the days and times cannot be known until after your child is selected on a team. Each coach has his/her own schedule. Games and practices will be assigned by the League on every day of the week. Due to the growth of Friendswood LL, Sunday will occassionally be utilized for practices and possibly regular season game play.
Q: I need information about try outs. Where can I get it?
A: All tryouts are held at Renwick Park. The calendar has the dates and times of try outs. After that, you can contact the appropriate player agent for more details if needed. For Fall season, there are no tryouts.
Many times this is the only area important or timely information is posted (i.e., rain outs), so it is important to be able to view it.
