Opening ceremonies first pitch thrown out by 2002 Freshman All-Stater from Fremont, Kelly Baker. Kelly went on to win an ASA State Championship and become a HS All-Stater. She currently pitches for Midland Lutheran College.

Jackie Sheets was a Freshman All-Stater 3 times. 1997,1998,1999 for Northwest HS. She has helped coach many of Northwest teams since. She was an All Metro player and plays for the College of St. Mary in Omaha. Thanks for coming back Jackie.
