From Rusty Gibson, manager 14U Fremont Flyers

The Fremont Flyer 14U closed out this weekend’s tournament in Hayward with its second straight trip to the championship game in back to back tournaments. The Flyers advanced to the final game by beating a tough Los Gatos Magic team by the score of 7 - 4.  The win came on a clutch double by Lexi Eddings with bases loaded which drove in three runs in the final inning.  The championship game was a battle with South San Jose Quicksilver edging out Fremont 4-2 to take 1st place.

The Flyers took 1st place in Davis on October 3 and 4th by beating out local team Davis Commotion in an 8-6 victory in the championship game.
